I found out about it much later sadly or I would have had an earlier number.

How would you even know about the game that early

Where do you find that? Also where do I find the multi purpose room blueprint?

I'd like to know when the last one was given out

By playing Natural Selection 2 like a patrician

>Find the Multipurpose room/Moonpool/Etc.
>Built the Seamoth
>Tfw Stuck because I don't know where to build my base now

Do you remember that radio message you got about finding dry land and regrouping of the Aurora survivors? You find it there.

Glitch the game at your own risk, kids
18 minutes of progress were lost due to my own stupidity

>no multiplayer
Literally worthless badge and game.

Isn't Natural Selection dead because the devs tried to pull some sort of stupid shit?

I bought this a year ago when it was still early access, is it less clunky now?

You know there is a console command for teleporting, right? It can get you from glitched places.

Same, I realize I can just build more bases, or even tear them down and get all materials back, but I'm having a hard time too.
I really like to have a place that feels like home, but I don't know if I should build it somewhere for looks, or in an useful place

Why does this thing even exist?

the special edition hull plate was available from a special offer advertised on humble for a little while, only 10k copies made supposedly.

It's just a reference to Miyazaki's best movie.

>every single sonar ping (once per 2 seconds) drains 1% of Cyclops' power
Jesus Christ this power management is going to be painful.

But that doesn't look anything like Princess Mononoke

I think I'm going to either go with Jellyfish Forest since there are no predators or the Red Grass biome since it's about in the center of things, I hope those seizuresharks don't fuck up my shit.

That's not how you write Spirited Away.

Mobile storage/crafting.

Would anyone be interested in watching a stream? I have a phobia of the deep and I'd like some company while I get fucked by Reapers.

it goes much deeper than the seamoth. you're going to need either this or the mech for endgame.

So you don't need to go back to your base every time you mined 20 ore.

Is there a dock for it or anything? I really can't see myself being bothered to charge 2 powercells at once for it.

I'd say it's roughly a tie betwen these two. Mononoke for the more serious and Spirited Away for the more silly.

What is the maximum depth?

sure, why not, I'm """working""" from home anyway.

About 1400m

Is the best way to handle all your food and water needs a single tray of melons in your base and cyclops?

The Void goes down to 2000 I think, but there's nothing down there and you'll just die.

8,000m

>you'll just die

Hold my purified water, I'm going in

is this game good yet?

If you have vr yes

>gliding over leviathan zone to recover my moth
>scooting just under the surface
>checking all around
>nothing
>cool
>100m to go
>turn around

What happens of you go out of bounds?

Ghost levis say hi

I don't have coordinates, but there's a fuckhuge wreck near a lifepod in the grass biome and a series of smaller plateaus nearby, right nearby there is a trench that can lead you down into the blood kelp zone, which is essentially the next step after getting a decent seamoth/ cyclops. Try checking that out.

Heres a pic of the wreck if you want to check it out. You could also just cheese and console command to teleport there, but fuck that right?

It's been good for years.

Get out of here, Stalker.

>Not afking next to two stalkers for 20 minutes and coming back to a fucking mountain of stalker teeth.

oh damn I just realized it got out of EA, thank god

You are dead, not big surprise

>Re: The guy asking why you cant just build a fuck huge antenna and signal for help.
The fabricator is context sensitive and wont put shit on there that requires materials you dont have nor let you create any objects which could give alterra lawsuits.
As you got shot the fuck down by something, building a signal booster to attract more targets is a bad idea.
The cyclops is the only thing specifically for use in water, the seamoth is a space/water exploration-scout and the prawn suit is a universal construction mech.

Furthermore, there's no point in doing it anyway, as the whole point of the aurora being in this region was to build something called a 'phase gate', and it took months of space travel to get to where you are without it.
The fact the sunbeam was close by was sheer luck.

No, and get ion power cells.

Is it even possible to resist the urge to just strip the fabricator, battery chargers, radio, etc out of your base and move them to the Cyclops instead of grinding for a second set of equipment?

A dock for the Cyclops? No. Just build more charging stations, or improve the Cyclops' power usage.
The Cyclops comes with a dock that can fit the Seamoth or PRAWN. The biggest advantage to the Cyclops is that it's big and tough and won't get you killed unless you're dumb.

Get Ion Cells.

>tfw you can use a scanner room to scan for Reapers
>building a base in the dunes was a good idea

What governs what shows up on the list? I swear I've seen it change.

>bought NS2 years ago
>bought Subnautica at the end of 2015
>tfw no hull plate

>Just the dunes.
You can build multiple scanner rooms user.

If it's in range you can track it.

Can someone make a subnautica-themed soyboy wojak? thanks

I think the zone where you build the scanner room matters. Build it in the Kelp zone and you have something else.

I said come in, don't just stand there!

>pirated
lol

Take your (you) and fuck off

I already have 2 bases, planning to have a scanner room in each biome.

>vores you

>dead as fuck playerbase
I really miss natsec2.

There's a thermal vent in the east of the safe shallows as it enters a kelp biome. I recommend the flat area relatively nearby (within 200 meters) since thermal vents are the best source of power in the game and you can chuck a few thermal generators up later on and link them with your base using a couple of those power couplers. Plus the grassy biome is pretty safe since sand sharks aint shit.

>obsolete
what does it MEAN?

When did this happen?

Holy fuck dude, this changes everything!

>NS2
What went wrong?

I've seen this sentiment around whenever NS2 gets brought up but I don't know what it's about, I haven't played in years.

>since thermal vents are the best source of power in the game
WRONG.

Thermals are unlimited power and relatively cheap
Also, no radiation.

I noticed it when I started it up today. I also don't think I've been playing for 24 in game days, maybe a little over a couple weeks tops.

The engine efficiency module + having all internal lights off and not running on silent running ever means you use basically no power. Probably get 2 hours of actually running it before it runs out of power, let alone just letting it idle.

Cyclops is great and basically necessary as a mobile Prawn Suit dock. Seamoth ain't shit, especially it's depth limit.

>Seamoth ain't shit
Too right. Once I get the Prawn, it use it exclusively and let the moth gather dust
If only there were a way to reclaim vehicles. We've got nanolathes, it should be possible

Holy hell it does

Radiation is unlimited and was much easier to find for me than magnetite. Also each reactor rod is worth like four thermal plants.

Crafting and replacing nuclear fuel is annoying, but thermals are infinite.

Some extra elbow grease to get magnetite is well worth functionally unlimited power

>keep trying to drop metal salvage for stalkers cuz the PDA said something about reward based behavior and I know they like picking that shit up for some reason
>they just ignore it and attack me every time

I DON'T GET IT

Just jump down the jellyshroom forest with the prawn and you'll have more magnetite than you'll ever need.

why the hell is the aurora still so badly designed? the textures are low res and I got stuck trying to get in
feels like a place that wasn't designed for a person to be in

How do I get my moonpool to properly connect?

Thermal plants generate unlimited power with no maintenance.

Reactors are fine and I use them when thermals aren't around but really thermals are way more convenient because literally 0 upkeep.

peepers, my man. feed them peepers.

>build base near seaweed shit
>make a scanner room
>stalkers come over and grab one of the cameras and fuck off wth it
They literally just play with it. If I take it somewhere else they come get the other one to play with. The same way they pick up metal scraps and fuck around with them, it’s so annoying.

It looks aligned to me. What's the problem?

Does anyone ever even use those cameras?

There is currently a multiplayer mod being worked on, the devs are hoping it turns out good. They also said they'd be interested in making multiplayer happen down the line, but first want to make the core experience as solid as possible. Be glad. The prospect of exploring the waters and building and chilling in an underwater base with friends sounds comfy

Only reactor I use is Bioreactor, and even then, I just stuff it with dead fish scraped out of a volcano I tap for thermals

stalker teeth are really annoying to get normally, but letting them fuck around with your camera then using your scanner room to find them is great.

Oh, I figured it needed to actually connect like the tube did to my multipurpose room.

Didnt know you could change beacon color, brb.

things this game needs that the modding community will ultimately have to provide because the devs are too lazy

>large room the size of the moonpool
>large creature containment that can fit baby leviathan class creatures
>stairs spiral and straight.
>square/right angle versions of every base module
>multiple fish tank sizes that range from a small fish owl to a curved aquarium that takes up a three walls of a multipurpose room

>more plants and fish of various sizes to fill up the biodiversity of the planet so it doesn't feel so barren

>lily pad biome (still salty about this one not being included)

>make the carry all equitable, increases inventory space by 9 slots

>atlas sub

youtube.com/watch?v=hKwaPLGQp5g

>multiplayer

I like nuclear reactors more than bioreactors just because water filtration is so power consuming.

>no multiplayer
>worthless game
And another user with a such boring and bland personality that he can't stand his own company and needs other people to keep him occupied.

I went to the Aurora's aft with a camera and swam with a Reaper. It didn't even damage it

It looks that way but as long as it's aligned it should connect. Ignore your tubes hissy fits and make it fit

subnautica huh? more like soynautica am i right fellas

You literally never need that amount of power and you only need like 2 thermal plants to power whatever retarded thing you're doing that'd require a lot of power. I'd be more open to nuclear if a rod didn't give only twice the amount of power over a Reginald in the bioreactor.

I almost gave up entering it because of the low res textures, and poor invisible walls in the wreckage. Luckly, I got lost and ended up resurfacing in the entrance area

>get message about bacteria
>PDA tells me to scan myself
>everytime I try the scanner blinks on for half a second then I pocket it

Do I have to upgrade it or something?

fuck off

>TFW always make small base near Lifepod to act as a magazine

Where/when should i build my second base
