They are visible and vocal despite never having played a game in their entire life, all they do is complain about social issues and build a following by doing just that. When a dev sees a roastiepost with 200+ likes calling their game whateverphobic they take it seriously because social media is somehow considered a valid means of customer outreach and they believe those individuals represent their customer base.

In a way, they do. 4th wave feminists have wormed their way into positions of power over the last decade and created right-think echo chambers. At the moment, companies put way too much stock in social media, and SJW's live their lives through facebook and twitter. They mistakenly believe that the minority of SJW voices that shout from their basements amount to something. But history has proven time and again that they don't buy video games and they don't care about the franchises they complain about.

The 4 design is literally the only good thing 343 has done in nearly 10 years of being in charge of the franchise. For them to toss out the one thing they did right, and replace it with literally her worst incarnation in the franchise shows just how out of touch they are.

I always thought Cortana's face was very manly, her body was always on point though. Never played 4 but I think 4's Cortana is probably the best looking.

That's absurdly unlikely for a few reasons

1. Halo is one of the biggest media franchises in history and is the Xbox's biggest first party franchise. An absurd about of bureaucracy and politics goes on to approve and make new products or changing to existing nes in the franchise, we know that MS is so autisitic about preseriving the brand that even hollywood doesn't want to bother with the trouble of working with them to make a Halo movie, which is why all the rumors from the 2000's about a movie adaption fell through.

It's absolutely possible that people at 343i are sjw's, but the idea that they would re-write the main narrative thread of mainline games just as an excuse too cover cortana up is absurd, especially since

2. We know that Halo 5's plot was more or less decided on, at least in terms of the broad strokes (including Cortana coming back and being evil) since when Halo 4 was still being worked on. There are interviews from back then with 343 employees saying that the next 10 years of the franchise's main plot was already decided, and since then there's been tons of newer novels and otther material that matches up and syncs up with stuff from older ones back from the time, which would only be possible if they planned that far ahead.

user, I litterally explained how 343 themselves have said exactly that and that's the in universe explanation for why she chose to appear naked to begin with; which would suggest the swap to being covered up in 5 has more to do with her narrative importance then them being SJW's
