This was rough, why did I end up feeling bad for so many of these characters
>It was too late too protect her smile
>It was always too late
His death.
Playing a full evil character in Jade Empire. Made me feel like shit all the time.
>Leaving this world is not as scary as it sounds.
...
Im not even gonna lie. Evan became my instant favorite because he had a pretty sad story. imagine promising that this book your writing will be so successful so you put all of your time into it and drive your family away. Then you put your life on the line because your only friend is a total dick that just wants you to write about him instead so he tries to test your limits until you give up. Then you finally get the info you need and you have the option to either die by an explosion either writing your silly book or die being with your wife an kid. Evan was too pure for this world He was literally a man who didnt like killing but had a bad case of ptsd and would just see red at times

Metro: Last Light when you have your final showdown with Pavlov. The initial betrayal made me a bit sad, but I was mostly enraged and wanted to kill him. But at the end, after I killed his men and start closing in on him, the mutant kid mentioned that there was sadness in Pavlov's voice when he taunts you. It made me realize that, while Pavlov wouldn't betray his superiors, he did still see you as his friend and it pained him deeply to have to try to kill you. I couldn't do it, in the end. He was my friend, too.
CATCH A RIIIIIIIIIIIIDE
Holy fuckin shit I had to pause the game after that whole fight. My eyes were watery.
Metro is underappreciated. That reminds me that I should probably read the books eventually
We bonded down there in the dark.
I knew it. He knew it.
everytime i see this ending i cry like a bitch.
...
the only reason I save his ass is so that I can get the good ending, it makes my eyes water all the time
How do I into MGS
Start at the beginning and try not to think about the plot too much
...
Even if you were still somehow mad at him, the method the game expects to you to kill him with is far more cruel than he could possibly deserve.
...
Mgs 1 to 5, there all great even though people have their opinions on certain one being better than others. That's part of the journey. Then if you want, go play metal gear on an emulator. People had fun with rising, but they say it's not canon.
Scooter was too based.
But I heard the plot is really good
I wasn't expecting the feels.
It's really fun, but it's batshit insane and really kinda goes off the rails into nonsenseland after 3.

As much of a trainwreck as FFXV's general plot was, it did know how to tug at your heart strings when it needed to.
one of the only good parts of this shit game
Quan's death + The Belhalla massacre are pretty affecting, especially when it shows the faces of all your dead comrades youtu.be
Forgot to say: A soundtrack can make or break a game
Fate Extella's endings really zigzagged between good and bad endings, and it actually made me cry for some reason.
Her plot line is pretty depressing.
>expect happy and cheerful disney ending
>instead get a bunch of friends who get separated, one of which is presumed fucking dead
What's his name again?
...
>The Shades are people
>Oh no
>NG+ gives them subtitles
>OH NO
...
>mfw the two Reavers are finally united, and the Scion of Balance is healed
...
>the moment you start walking towards the barn door
>you knew
...
Spoiler that shit nigger
>not having played silent hill 2
its like bitching about people spoiling that darth vader is lukes father
So do japs have ANY creative writing classes or do they all just learn how to do salaryman bullshit and argue over waifus because japanese storytelling is overwhelmingly awful
Fuck man, he was such a bro throughout the whole game. I ended up popping him in a rage my first time, regretted it through and through.
Strangely this didn't affect me that much emotionally, or anything else in Automata really. Nothing tops the first game's plot twist
Warm Chilldude.
play it in release order
Seriously, that part was so much more competent than the rest of that game.
still gives me the feels, even after all these years
...
>darth vader is lukes father
come on dude the spoiler tags are there for a reason
Cold War philosophy is a hell of a drug
Sorry, I didn't consider that before posting, but it WAS released 17 years ago so if you haven't played it yet I don't know what to say.
Additionally, without context the scene is a bit confusing to make sense of.
The big twist in the first game didn't do much for me, but oddly enough the loading screens did. Yonah's diary entries were heartbreaking.
>MMBN2 Ending
You heard fucking wrong.
Before ending A
>Look at this robot flying at the ceiling doing dumb video game shit
After ending A
>pic related
>play deviantart fanfic
>get deviantart fanfic plot
>WOWWWW WHO COULD HAVE SEEN THIS COMING SO SAD ;;;;_;;;;
Autism.
IcyHot®
dont be a fucking retard
the doctor is half human on his mothers side
It's very different to many people.
For example I unironically think Metal Gear has the greatest plot of any vidya series I've ever played.
...
This event and of course the events that lead to it are some of the saddest moments in my childhood
Consider the age group at which the game was targeted man.
An ending like that probably would make a kid cry, since really their only concern at that age is friendship.
i cry everytime
Battle Network 3's ending where they show life going on without Mega Man and Sean actually comes back to cheer you on had me in tears, no lie.
Shame the series went to shit after 3 and the plot got tossed into the trash so we never saw Sean again.
Spoiler that shit, dude.
But yeah, it's pretty sad.
Shit those are good too. And also I like how it sometimes shows the Research Notes, gives a bit of the lore in a weird but mysterious way
beepy lives on and gave intelligence to the Machines 10000 years later though
inFamous 2
>"Half as long..."
>"Twice as bright."
WHERE'S KLONOA 3
Season 1 was a wild ride
>Dart gets him that drink at the end of the game
Fuck it still gets me
It's still heartwrenching man, especially as he's talking to the child. Most people who played probably don't know that either. Especially since that stuff was only fan-translated and never officially "released" in the states
Gears of War was surprisingly good for story. They did this death right, especially considering if you co op through the whole series, you're always playing Marcus and Dom.
Dom's death will always depress me.
But when you kill the Queen it is so good
>that's from Dom..
Just thinking about it makes me tear up, fuck.
Fuck, just had to make me treat up, ya bastard
I miss them
Fucking Elina in Breath of Fire IV
Yeah, I knew 4 was on the way when I saw 3's ending the ending had me wondering...
I was waiting for someone to mention that.
Well you never forget a true Bro am I right?
...
If we're talking about nier, the only moment i actually cried at is Emil's death in automata
When he gets all his memories back, and his last words.
"Oh...hey! There you are...I'm so glad... I got to see you all again..."
I love porky!
Just about every scene with the mother really fucked with my feelings.
...
>No Red Asphalt
Smh Sup Forums just baka
It was surprisingly emotional. The bad end is great.
Fuck dude...this made me fell real sad
Never thought an eroge could make me cry
I still don't understand exactly why that happened, didn't play enough of FES
Every fucking time man.
This game made me cry like a little bitch. Sibling stuff always fucks me up. Pic related.

the end credits for MGS games are good for doing this
