TEIN is cheaper, shorter, and looks better and clearer. Celeste has more gimmicks and changeups as far as I've seen, while TEIN has better general platforming. Depends on if you like having abilities and special blocks and shit, or just basic and better platforming.

Not really needed on PC, Cheat Engine takes care of it. I'd like adaptive difficulty though, so you can adjust physics, enemies, fine tune all kinds of shit to make it challenging in a different way etc.

I agree that people should improve instead of whining all the time about a game being hard, but if a dev wants to pander to these people, I prefer that they add literal cheat codes so they don't waste time on "easy mode" or trying to make some portions of the game easier so bad players can also beat them.
