Hey Sup Forums here's a cool fact:
Nintendo hasn't released a single good controller since the Super Nintendo.
Hey Sup Forums here's a cool fact:
Gamecubefags will debate this.
WaveBird.
Close the thread. OP is a moron.
>based on an already shit controller
>made more shit by big autistic battery compartment
>introduces input lag
wow great controller ya got there, retard
...
> shit controller
>Hey Sup Forums here's a cool fact:
Every single joypad for every major console for the past 30 years have taken their design directly from Nintendo pads. Nintendo were the company who decided HOW we play games. Isn't that interesting?
>this
>good controller
If you play games that actually require skill and a high amount of inputs, this controller is fucking trash. Play any THPS game or really anything that requires the precision of digital, D-pad inputs and try to tell me this controller is good. It's absolute garbage.
I actually agree with this. N64, GC, Wii, WiiU, Switch...all shit controllers.
Strange how they ended up fucking it all up so bad after the SNES. Really activates the almonds.
wrong
>right analog stick on top
garbage
>doesn't ship with console
may as well not even count
>there are Smashfags that actually bought this and the Gamecube adapter just to play Smash4 """competitively"""
I understand if you wanted a new GC controller to play some GC games but spending $100 just so "it's like I'm playing Melee all over again!" is just sad lmao
>THPS games
>skill
your opinions are now worthless, congrats.
>t, soyboy who never progressed past shitty 1mil combos
You literally don't know what skill is, faggot.
you need to die if you're autistic enough to take fucking Tony Hawk games seriously
The SNES controller has a great, revolutionary layout to it but awful quality: The Dpad floats and doesn't sit snug in the housing like the NES controller, face buttons don't have enough travel room and the triggers don't depress the internal contact at a comfortable and accurate point for your fingers. On top of all this, the internal membranes degrade like no other controller; the start/select in particular dissolves into a glue-like consistency over time and the rest of them get worn enough that button presses eventually won't register.
I recently had to disassemble three seperate SNES controllers just so I could gather enough working parts to make one barely functional one. Any original SNES pads out in the wild will have worn out membranes. The ridiculous part is the build quality of the NES controller is far better despite it lacking a rounded edge and modern button layout; I have four NES pads with perfect "clicky" dpads despite them being nearly ten years older than the SNES.
>I suck at video games so everyone else should suck at them too, so they can be normal, like me, the niggerposter
By essentially creating the standard asymmetric layout with the GC controller.
you’re retarded
First and worst. Then they didn't even bother trying to improve on it, instead opting for gimmicks, forcing
>innovation
where none was really needed.
