How common are these and what are the likelihood Sup Forums?

I have yet to meet a single girl that was interested in video games beyond mobile stuff, Overwatch, or LoL. The closest thing was MapleStory, but that was about fucking 10 years ago at this point.

I personally hit off with my wife by bringing in Silent Hill to my Uni's "game night", and double daring the few chicks in my class to try it out. She was the one that borrowed the entire trilogy afterwards.

No clue about now but I know of at least 4 couples that met each other from our days in RO. Three of them got married, and one of them has kids now. The one of them unfortunately ended when the guy came to the realization that he's gay.

met my husband playing league. we both quit playing it ages ago and now we mostly play couch coop games in between our busy work schedules. it's alright but after a while games do get tiresome so we have been branching out into other hobbies

The closest was a girl I met through ERP I got hit with the feels after hanging out with them for about a year but since then those feelings have sorta subsided. Outside of doing cutesy stuff or non-con. we didn't RP much and she'd only play Overwatch so we ran out of things to talk about.
Other than her I've found one girl who'll actually try whatever we tell her to play and is somewhat cute but is a scrub casual who just wants to do whatever her friends are doing.

I met my gf of 2 years and change over WoW. We first met in late BC and were in the same friend group for the longest time, so even when we all quit we played other stuff together. Having a gf who understands "hey I just wanna shitsock this game for a few days" is invaluable. We're going to finally get our own place this summer, I'm pretty excited.

I think that the likelihood of making lifelong friendships (let alone relationships) in multiplayer games has gone down. MP games these days don't have that strong of a community where opportunity for socializing beyond game mechanics can happen. Most of them are about quick matches done in up to 30 mins instead of having to work toward a long term goal (raid bosses) with a static group.

Maybe it's because of my skillset/lack of interest to compete. I don't know.
