Forgotten games
Forgotten games
...
It was forgotten for a reason. Because it is shit.
...
i had forgotten about it but now i don't
thanks for making me sad
Actually posting this make me wana play it again.
Anyone played this, how was it?
...
Also this one.
I liked it. It was basically a first person SOCOM.
Fracture's gimmick was neat but the rest of the game was shit. I'd like to see terrain deformation actually done well.
I've had this game on my bucket list forever. Many fun Summer nights playing Driver 2 with my dad and bros.
Honest if mag was on PC it would still be alive. Too many console gamer plays it like COD and would not work as a team.
...
Holy shit, I played this.
It's a decent game on it's own but don't expect it to be anything like Driver 1 and 2.
Fracture had issues like the actual terraforming weapons working in really small arenas, and gears style narrow, linear corridor sections in between big open arenas where you fought enemies and did really basic puzzles.
That said, the terraforming was super fun, especially when you got the stalagmite gun and could just fucking fling enemies into the air, and then blast them with a rocket.
I got to it too late unfortunately. From what I played though it was pretty fun. I missed out on a good game. I wish I played it in its prime. It probably could have used some sort of single player and bot modes though since now it is useless. If they ever try to remaster it (impossible I know) I would probably buy it just to help support it even if it ends up not being able to get revived.
best multiplayer on the PS3
...
This was the last gen we got good mediocre games, isn't it? Now everything is either AAA or indieshit.
What was the deal with last gen having so many mediocre shooters with fun/interesting gimmicks?
Everyone wanted to be Gears of War and/or Call of Duty but most were not creative or succesful enough to pull it off
Actually a great game.
75% of the N64's library
The co-op was fun in this game.
...
Remember when everyone pretended this was good for some reason
my sisters ex really liked it for some reason
he even compared the combat to dmc 3/4 but I think he was just retarded
The one AAA Platinum game nobody played coming through
I KNEW THERE WAS A DIABLO EXPANSION
What even is that?
Does it have new areas, classes and bosses?
Why didn't you remember her?
>making Bayonetta a preorder bonus
Fuck you!
I still wanted to play it because of Jack and the Blacker Baron.
>tfw almost imported this game
glad i didnt lol
...
Masterpiece
I finished this game. I remember it had one great boss fight with a big tentacle monster of some kind
Pretty memorable game actually. Gameplay was shit though
I forgot how shitty early PS3 games were and I hate how hyped they were. Haze was supposed to be the next Halo, Lair was supposed to be the shit for the six axis.
>this unpolished shit got released
>fully finished and polished Rogue Squadron 4 got tossed in the trash cause of Disney buying out Star Wars
>devs acknowledged that RS3 was shit and RS4 would make up for 3's lousy ground combat, become the definitive Star Wars game
>now Factor 5 makes shit like "Hulu" and "Netflix" apps on Xbone, PS4 and Switch
It's not fair!
>six axis
Ohhhh so that's what it meant. I always just repeated sixaxis like it was a brand name or something
The best use of the Sixaxis in my experience ended up being Warhawk — being able to fly with motion controls while simultaneously aiming the cannon and camera independantly with the sticks was brain-melting but felt godly to master.
>pretended
it IS good, it's just really plain. It's a game that was best as a $20 downloadable, and not a $60 full priced retail release. And they learned their lesson when it sold like garbage.
It's a shame the sequel is some garbage ass dungeon crawler.
What was the name of that Gears of War-clone that had a protag who looked like Guts from Berserk? It was on PS3 and 360.
Fuck you. I remember looking forward to this game big time since it was both wacky Insomniac and made for co-op, only for them to 180 and shit on my face
This was actually a really good game. Probably my favorite online game on PS3 (campaign was kinda meh) Sony didn't promote it or anything, and it sold like shit as a result. Now the devs (also the folks behind Warhawk) make iPhone games.
That game sucked. If more than one person attacked you at once the camera would go batshit which made it impossible to fight back
It's got new areas new items new enemies and a new class. It also adds a title system for uniques like you see in Diablo 2. The reason why it's not remembered is because it's not an official expansion and it's horribly unbalanced and buggy makes the game really unfun to play
PS3 is full of forgotten games.
>resistance series
>killzone series
>lair
>warhawk
>starhawk
>mag
>haze
>socom 4
>heavenly sword
I'm probably missing so many other ones. Feel free to fill in what I left out.
Let's remember how shitty was the PS3 Genji.
For fucks sake, the PS2 one is fucking amazing while the 2nd is quite meh
The ass isn't good enough to remember anymore
>Mag
I don't even know what they were thinking
>Release online only game
>Shut down servers
Sad thing is people are still selling it on ebay
I've never even heard of that game until now user. This is what I am talking about. Sony put out way too much forgettable shit. Not necessarily bad but nothing that has stood the test of time obviously. I don't care for TLOU or Uncharted but I'll give them credit for at least making two franchises people seem to care about in those. God Of War as well.
This is coming from a guy that loved Killzone 2 btw. I can't deny it though. People completely forgot those games exist.
...
I remember being excited for this game's gimmick. Too bad the game sucks and lucas arts went offline due to the disney jew
ps3 genji has been immortalized forever though
...
Playstation consoles in general are full of forgotten games
Who remembers:
>Jumping Flash
>Tomba
>PaRappa the Rapper
>The Mark of Kri
>ATV Offroad Fury
Am I weird for just going around time-stop stealing people's guns and leaving them alive?
Parappa became a meme game in recent years
Is Little Big Planet forgotten?
After the disaster that was LBP3, more like dead.
I agree with you but at least those PS1 games such as Crash, Spyro, Medievil, Tomba, and others were fun. PS3 is when they kept trying to put out shooter crap and bland forgettable slasher type games not called God Of War. So yeah while Tomba is forgotten now I would still say it was fun.
Lets not pretend Nitnendo is immune to this either. Star Fox hasn't had an amazing game people want to remember since 64. Metroid didn't even have any games for the N64. If it isn't Zelda, Mario or Pokemon for the most part people don't care. Their other franchises have a much more niche audience of fans.
I'm glad Medievil is getting a remake though. That game was an absolutely underrated gem that deserves to be played.
Bought this game on release, blasted through it in a couple of days. I remember the ending being especially shitty somehow.
Resistance 1 is pretty underrated
The story had so much potential and then they went full action shooter with the 2nd one. The 3rd is just forgettable entirely
Maybe so but the series is most definitely forgotten.
Isn't that the game that tried to be Spec Ops: The Line before spec ops and failed miserably?
