COD is a multiplayer only series. Campaign is passable shit not even worth remembering. Decent at best. A one time playthrough. I like my single player games that are memorable and actually worth replaying multiple times.

Yea the CoD campaigns used to very good. If you've been buying Call of Duty every year you're an idiot for one and two the MP is legit dogshit.

I say this very thing about CoD MP. Imho only MW1 and MW2, and the WaW/BO is good. CoD 1 was great but I only played the remaster.

Read my two posts again. I never at any point said they are so awful that they aren't worth playing. However being meh doesn't mean they are worth playing either. If a person just skips them in favor of sticking to multiplayer I wouldn't blame them at all. I've never replayed any of these games. For MW2 and Blops2 I didn't even bother playing the campaign because nothing about it interested me.

the campaign of ww2 isn't over top and as contrived as some of the others. give it some credit, outside of the few typical cod shit scenes (train scene, car race, french le stronk women) it is breddy gud

MW1's campaign is way better than BO2 campaigns. The multiple choices were cool but it still didn't make it worth replaying.

I played through all the games recently and I really liked them, blops 2 was good but not that great. fucking better than mw3.

MW2 has some of the most open levels in the series. Its scripted events are very elaborate, but they're concentrated at the beginning and start of levels, they don't interrupt the action as often as the scripting in CoD4 and BO1 does
