Does this game have any OTG that aren’t supers? Things like Nappa’s assist seem to do nothing as soon as the enemy hits the ground and feels off. I just wanted to extend my combos like in MvC

I seriously can't seem to make Gotenks DO anything, I can make his combos generate decent amounts of Ki from the high hit counts but going through the combo challenges a lot of characters seem to do higher damage with just the stage 9/10 combos they teach you.

so far the sonic fox's matches have been high level, im pretty sure he;s winning the entire thing.

Ok, I found it looking again if someone said it was there. I figured it would be in training settings, but it was under button setting on R3 that sticks don't have

Knock someone down, call 17, do a mixup while he covers you, get a hit, go into a combo, repeat

You need to air combo with her, and constantly summon 17 as bait;before you ground combo so he can act as a buffer for you, and do some damage.

The character you start the match with that you use early while gaining meter that you will use for other characters

It's just that Level 3 damage is 100% blue life so doing one to a Sparking Blast character is basically worthless unless it WILL kill. Just do Level 1s.

The BEST part about Sparking are the movement options: jump cancel on block and Empty Vanish.

First character in the team. It should be someone who's good at building meter, has good mix up options to start up combo strings and benefits greatly from assists.

She's even been shafted in fucking dokkan battle, there's no hope for kefla

18 is good because you essentially have a whole nother assist just there for you for mixup opportunities. Call 17 more often to kick your opponent down and mix them up . Hell call in the other assist too

Does sparking blast recover blue life faster the more there is or is it a set rate?

18's barrier and 17's counter are powerful deterrents against strong pressure put out by good players.
If you're playing on Saibamen Rank, 18's most lowkey powerful tools are basically worthless because the people you're fighting are unpredictable retards.
Besides that, 18 requires good pacing, 17's assists can put out constant pressure on the ground.

Yeah that's the only time I use 17, on knockdown or knock up but watching the tournament they seem to do it a lot more often and getting use out of it, whereas when I try to do it there's so much a delay that it always leaves me open to a dash.

Dude they just about to release the actual top tier potara category leader, LR goku and vegeta (with vegeto in the background) 170% lead. They're doing the same with LR angel goku and angel vegeta (with gogeta in the back) which becomes the new op fusion category leader, so even ss4 gogeta is shafted

On the road and out of town til Sunday. Anyone using expected low tiers like Teen Gohan or Gotenks successfully?

I have no idea what ArcSys was thinking with these characters. T. Gohan has solid rushdown and meter effecient damage for point, but his utility overall is shittier than other rushdown/point like Yamcha or Hit. Stubby normals, shit assist, and harder to convert damage than others atm.

Gotenks seems to have similar problems besides his assist being okay for setups or combo extenders, but it would help if it was faster or tracked better. Not sure where Gotenks is supposed to go or how to approach characters like Beerus without wasting a bunch of meter for his ghosts (which aren't as good as similar moves).

Excited to see Tien players, but I feel like he needs very specific assists to convert off of some of his openers unless you burn meter.

Flux is making 21 look GOOD right now. Almost everything she can steal is good regardless of who she's facing, and the range on those M normals.

Huh. Works on my machine.

Dragon Balls are gimmicks. One appears each time you complete an autocombo or when you do a matching hit combo (10-19 for 1*, 20-29 for 2*, etc). If you have max meter, land an autocombo, and all 7 balls are out, you summon Shenron and get a bonus of your choosing. Never happens, really.

The lightning bolt is "Sparking Blast," which is like X-Factor. Upgrades your current character, gives you absurdly fast regenerating health (but only into the blue).

Pan makes me feel funny.

No you can get in a lobby with them but you can't start a ring match to play with them.

I imagine a beam assist would be pretty good for his since he's very ground based, so probably Goku and/or Black

If not, that’s disappointing. Moves like A16’s assist would have been great for combo extenders, and any OTG would have done wonders for fun in the lab for extremely long combos.

How do I change commentator voices? I thought I unlocked Yamcha and Piccolo but there isn’t an option to change them in sound settings.
