No. They completely butchered the controls. The best part of MGSV was how fluid everything felt. Now it's a clunky mess.

If you decide to not play it, it better be because its a shallow hordemodecashgrab game with f2p mechanics inserted in them for the sake of taking your money at every possible step.

There was only one good thing about the Phantom Pain and that was the controls (basically, how Snake controlled / what you can do with Snake). Everything else, from the mission design to the level design absolutely sucked. I'm glad they are bringing back the MGSV gameplay and putting it into a new, better game. Fortnite is a great game, but has a lot of flaws in the character movement (particularly, the gunplay is shit), so this is like a perfect combo.

Having said all that, I'm gonna rent or pirate it instead. I don't think the game is gonna be shit, but I don't think it will have enough content to warrant a purchase at launch. Also, the always online and tons of microtransactions are putting me off.

What if you don't trust about the product they are making? Considering this is konami the distrust is more than comprehensive.
Pirating seems to be the better solution to make sure you are not wasting money on a subpar cash grab made by a company that no longer cares about making good products.
