Lost Kingdoms

Just started playing this. It's pretty hard. The random encounters are a little annoying.

How do I not waste my cards? Do they actually disappear forever when I use one up completely? Can cards be 'healed'?

How hard?

The map keeps re-orienting itself and I get lost, I keep losing cards for nothing.

I want a real answer. How many times have you died? How far are you?

I'm always looking for difficult games.

They refresh when you finish a level or die iirc. You don't lose them forever once used, but you can only use them once per level. Just choose when to use them wisely in each level and it's easy. Great game.

learn element weakness

second one has slightly more quality of life improvements

there are 3-4 cards that can refresh your cards.
You can get one of the best early on if your are lucky in the channel

Lost Kingdoms 3? Never. Ever.

I loved this game but it's been so long since I last played that I don't remember much about the mechanics. I'm 99^ sure they do not, you recover them at save points perhaps? I believe you can also capture new cards with blank cards, or maybe that's the sequel. I have to go and check this out now.

holy shit i forgot I played this game like 18 years ago once. I had no clue what I was doing. That girl on the cover has a weird face

If you burn too many cards, you can still rush the level to finish it and come back later for bonuses.

Your deck replenishes every time

fucking ree, man

:(

Hearing the music again is getting me really pumped up.

This. Try not to use the strong cards or miss too many attacks on weaker enemies. The dragon knight, I think that's what it is, is one of the stronger ones for the early game. Pay attention to attributes, and also there's icons next to the cards telling you what kind cards they are (some are attacks, some summon the monsters, some use an ability).

Just make a deck of 30 Banshees, OP.
It'll never, ever do you wrong.

It can’t be that hard I beat the game when I was like 11 years old

>developed by FromSoftware
>has the same menu chimes as Dark Souls

first point is wrong, you can only add cards you found in one level.
You can capture cards with your own cards in both games, but wasted your cards in that round, so thats not so good early on

30 Banshees before finishing the story?

convention over configuration ;)

The second game has better gameplay.
