It is a much more logical and wise choice to wait a few months before buying games, when they are discounted and you'll find plenty of good resources on the quality of the game. Unless you have a surplus of money and just don't care.

When you say preorder, do you actually pay money up front for the game? Because where I'm from preordering doesn't cost shit and it basically ensures you'll get a game on release, if you want it. Personally I preorder a bunch of shit but I only buy like one 1/10th of it. I basically use preorders a list to keep track of when games come out.
