I thought the whole Amadeus concept was great and then it's incredibly under-utilized. 3/4 of the branches he doesn't even talk to her.

It's pretty obvious she was basically a red herring the entire time, designed to make people think she was a younger Kurisu or child of Okabe and her. She was fucking pointless as a character and Maho deserved that screentime.

I don't know why they didn't cut characters like not-Kurisu and made the plot focus more on Amadeus and made Maho the second girl.

It was alright. The plastic surgery nonsense and everything else with Kagari is a damn shame, and they really should've just axed Mayuri's friends since they don't have a single purpose for being there.

To be honest, so many shit was introduced and underutilized. Not sure why the whole "everyone is getting Reading Steiner" plotline was introduced with Mayuri's friend. Not to mention how irrelevant Faris and Luka were.

I assume it was to make the whole "we are rounding them all up into a hospital to be experimented on" more personal and give okabe someone to talk about the other worldine with. It didn't really work well though.

I think the big problem is the lack of Amadeus Kurisu and Okabe interacting. The biggest highlight in the original was their chemistry and growth together. Maho was great and also had great chemistry with Okabe, but it can't compare and the romance is one-sided.

I kinda liked it. Same issues as everyone else with how Kagari was handled.
Really curious what they'll do for the anime though. One of the endings? Multiple? Will they try and cobble together a more coherent plot?

They said that there's going to be changes. I just wonder how they'll "unlock" the true ending or if they'll just skip Hououin Kyouma "revival".

Are they just going to just have him get the text from one route without showing how it happend then? As you need to complete a certain route first to get the true ending. Or would they do that and then it would backtrack in time?

I hope not, Okabe's character growth leading up to that moment is incredibly satisfying. I'm also afraid they'll skip or OVA Maho's arc too.

Best ending was Twin Automata. Moeka redeemed, Maho gets a decent arc, has a fun Nae scene, and the least amount of Kagari bullshit.

If they skip any Maho content I will riot

0 is such a bad kind of VN to adapt into an anime, I'm expecting alot of good moments to get dropped unless they rewrite the script.

Yea without a rewrite it would be pretty horrible pacing wise. You would get all hyped for the revival bit and then it would reverse back in time undoing everything except the text and you are back to gloomy Okabe for a period of time.

Almost every sci;adv game is shit. The only one worth playing is Steins;gate.
