Just finished xenoblade... probably the best jrpg I've played in years

...

Just killed the 130 UM for the first time, almost didn't do it because my chain attack left him with a sliver of health and he was about to rape my party

SO HERE I AM

...

...

When can I buy the damn OST so I don't have to listen to Drifting Souls with in-game sfx

floren is a BOY

look it up

...

>I will never sniff Newt's thicc ass

>yfw pic related

Yo this moment was fucking solid. Shit Malos was like my favourite character besides Zeke.

This is one of the smuggest pics in the universe

What exactly makes it good?
t. someone who has never played a Xeno game and likes jrpgs

It's fun and comfy

Exploration, combat, story, and music are all around incredibly solid. The first game was basically the best JRPG of its generation, and X was a very solid open world game. Xenoblade 2, imo, is at least on-par with the original.

>What exactly makes it good?

One word: MINGE

please be more objective

I was. My objectives were "fun" and "comfy", and this game had them.

If Griffith and Guts never betrayed each other.

It's above average for a JRPG story. Some people say it's amazing and some think it's okay, but it definitely goes for the "grand and epic" feel toward the end. All of the characters are great.

Combat sucks ass at first, but it gradually gets better as the game goes along and is really fun by the end. A lot of postgame is pretty easy when you figure out everything.

What probably separates this game from most of the ones you've played is the exploration. Really big environments with tons of nooks and crannies, the game works with elevation really well.

>yfw MONADO CYCLONE

It's about as generic as it possibly gets in terms of story.

...

...

>that kinda looks like the Monado
>OH SHIT

>you cum shot her ass but the eye gets hit

The gameplay is satisfying, but could take awhile for some players to learn, especially if you are new to the battle system. Only downside I could see is the way you acquire characters/weapons is through a gacha system (with no microtransactions).
Story could be a hit or miss. It is very trope-written with the dialogue up to a certain point, I'd say after Chapter 5. By that time, you are accustomed to the world and can then delve into some politics/moral questions which was interesting if you are into that.
Music fits so well with every area and it well varied in the instruments and style. Music doesn't get old while exploring the large areas in the games which those are also well varied in terms of set pieces.
I think if you're a fan of RPGs, this is a game you should get for the Switch. The anime aesthetic could put you off or it can grow on your like it did for myself. Plus, if you're into waifus, there is plenty here. Not a lot of husbandos other than Zeke.

...

>implying I pull out

Nah, m8. That arsehole is getting filled

Nia is a fucking cupcake, I want her

I'm a little tilted for rolling these two almost back to back but whatever, tiddy monster and a bear

krodil aint shit, opheon/orion are where it's at

I wish there was an option just to keep the cool diving helmet on.

Klaus's scenes were kino. Hope we get more on him with XC3 morytha

the story is as good as you make it depending on how many previous xeno games you've played. The story is a enhanced by playing XC1 first and further enhanced by playing XG/XS

I wish there was an option to switch back to Rex's original outfit.

I wish there was an option to have Pyra wear this outfit again

What artist should I commission for a cute hairy Nia

...

I wish you could play as other party members besides Rex without being gimped to hell

what do you mean? you can summon pneuma with anyone
