We're getting some pretty good WRPGs/CRPGs, and JRPGs are shaping up to be pretty good too.

It's so bad it got me to finally stop my extended adolescence and concentrate on more important shit.

I think it's largely just fine, better than most other media industries at the moment. There are plenty of shady business practices in video games today but most of them only influence games I don't give a shit about, so I don't care.

I don't pay for the color blue in videogames either so I don't care if they're charging you or anyone else for stuff like that. And business practices aside, I tend to find myself enjoying more videogames in a given year than movies, assuming we're only talking about vidoegames or movies that came out in that year.

That's retarded honestly. That's like saying rising sea levels isn't a problem because you don't live near the coast. Microtransactions are getting bigger and bigger, and eventually it'll be hard to ignore. Just because it doesn't affect you now doesn't mean it won't eventually.

If that happens then I'll worry about it then, but for now it hasn't effected me even once so I don't care. I'm not saying I approve of it, I just don't care. You can say it's a slippery slope and it's inevitable that this will plague all videogames if you want, and you may be right, but for the time being I'm content to enjoy the games I like, which so far have been largely unaffected by mircrotransactions and the like.
