CS:GO menu music on first launch

Crazy Bus

90% of games when you launch them for the first time
youtube.com/watch?v=vQ7s5Pp5a0c

The submachine gun from Half-Life 2

Radiant Historia footsteps

Saints row 3 when opening crib/shop menu, because I want to blast the songs in cars but can't done it down on menus

The Behemoth credit roll on every Behemoth game.

It drives you crazy once you've been listening to it for a few years.

TO MY SIDE MY NOBLE EINHERJAR

Ninja Spirit

The Dragonball Xenoverse games are super fucking loud. Like, I have to play them on a tenth of what I play other games on.

For individual sound effects, the Titan executions in Titanfall 2 are super fucking loud as well. Especially Scorch's one where he slams his fists down with a "REEEEEEEEE"

EU4 menu music that starts blaring at you from the initial loading screen

Low hp in zelda games

youtube.com/watch?v=4Il5aZhYy8E

monkaS

In every single jrpg ever the opening cutscene is always laoud as fuck. Fuck that shit.

monster madness xbox.

...

youtube.com/watch?v=lDQ7hXMLxGc

Nah, fuck you mate.
Valkyrie Profile wasn't perfect, but Lenneth's voice wasn't that grating, even if you did hear that line fairly often.

Alien: Isolation. The startup intro is loud as FUCK and the in-game music is obnoxiously loud to the point that all suspense is thrown out the window because the music basically warns you 5 seconds before the Alien shows up

>The music that would blare as well

All of Ready or Not
youtube.com/watch?v=U09x_rWMXYw

people's shitty music in Garry's mod loading screens

Same kinda thing in dead space: most of the tension lifts up because you know if someone is gonna attack you from behind when you hear the loud as fuck EeEEEEeEE

what would 1942dB actually do? I mean immediate deafness is obvious but what could that sort of power actually be capable of doing beyond that?

this seems like it would satisfy my firearm autism, at least the weapons seem to act and sound realistic enough

This and low HP in pokemon

>What we perceive as sound is longitudinal pressure waves traveling through the air. The "loudness" of sound is dictated by the amplitude of the waves - in this case, the deviation from ambient air pressure. A sound of 194 dB has a pressure deviation of 101.325 kPa, which is ambient pressure at sea level and 0 degrees C. Thus, the sound waves are creating vacuums between themselves, and no higher amplitude is possible.
>For what it's worth, "sounds" can actually be greater than 194 dB, but the extra energy begins to severely distort the entire wave, and it's more of a shock wave than traditional sound waves.
It would be very painful

You're a big guy

4me?

NEED A DISPENSER HERE
NEED A DISPENSER HERE
NEED A DISPENSER HERE
NEED A DISPENSER HERE

this seems like a blatant shill post

this time the shilling got me actually interested

so what would a ~2000dB sound wave be on the richter scale?

The gunshots in pubg are so fucking loud

youtube.com/watch?v=t4yM_J0rdSY

Based on quick research that would most likey kill all the people and would be a bigger boom than the big bang itself is speculated to be.
Krakatoas eruption was 180db and was heard 4000km away

Thanks for the heads up user, hope they got something consistent now/OT

dB is a logarithmic scale (like exponential, but even more exponential).
2000 dB would be enough to destroy the universe.

BLAHRGAGAGRAGAHEGAHEGAGHGGGHHHH

any game you start for the first time on steam
fucks sake

New call of duty has some loud VO randomly.

pretty much every beast enemy in BB
AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

They are fine for me desu, unless I use headphones. Normally I use my home theatre so I can just adjust the volume from a remote. But when I play that game for the first time with headset on I have to lower everything to very low so I can hear my friends talk

Fucking bat noises from Nioh.

>night time
>headphones in
>launch a new game for the first time
>opening music comes on like youtube.com/watch?v=_NCcxAOKlL0

Manic miner should be at the top
youtu.be/F7khL9Ms4ow

...

I'm currently playing Yakuza Kiwami and it is just annoying in terms of volume.

Why can't I turn the volume of anything down through any of the settings? I thought this was a simple option that we had developed decades ago, but I guess Sega just forgot how and just left it out the game. It's not that bad but it's marginally too loud on my monitor's lowest volume setting so if I want to listen to something while playing it, I also have to turn the volume up on that as well.

Dark souls 2 mirror knight pre patch

Manic Miner on the ZX

The credits track in DS1 - I love the song but it's too fucking loud

>have music set to lowest
>STILL LOUD
You'll always hear it too, even for just a moment.

PUBG, the sound engineering on that game is so fucked up its not even funny. The grenade windows shatter bug is genuinely dangerous for your hearing. Sound levels in general are also all over the place, if you want to keep the volume high enough to hear footsteps, the red zones and gunshots will cause hearing damage in the long term.

The startup/menu theme on just about any Paradox gsg.
Victoria 2, CK2, and HoI4 in particular.

The belfry gargoyles in DaSII - because they recycled the music from the first game and it is twice as the rest of the OST

Fucking this
And the small lag at the beginning

...

I relish any kind of Shilling that a spiritual sequel to SWAT comes my way.

The toad dice in mario party three saying Haaaiii!

The gun sound in Shadow Man when you were in Deadside was way too fucking loud and obnoxious. I remember going out of my way to look in the files of the PC version so I could lower its volume in audacity. It wasn't ear-shattering or anything but it was just loud enough to get on my nerves.

>BRUM
>BRUM BRUM

Axe Zombie dying in Blood

BAKER'S PULLING BACK
A BOMB'S BEEN PLANTED ON OUR AMMO SUPPLY
Granted this is all prepatch. It was hilariously loud the first month and some change.

>complete quest
>AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH

Armadyl crossbow's special attack.

youtube.com/watch?v=hhYT1L8yeJU

when you actually manage to win a campaign game as the japs, that ending cutscene is soooo fucking worth it.

What is it? I... have never seen it

youtube.com/watch?v=KKazbeelfaM

Its.... amazing, user. For one single, glorious game, the burgers come out on the bottom, and grorious nippon steel wins.
the music is the same as what plays when you win a single battle

Gun shots, in left 4 dead 2, needed an addon to tune them -14db down and they are still as loud as any other sound in that game

Ehrgeiz in its entirety with special mention for the console menu not only being loud as shit but also one of the most annoying sound effects I can recall. Crossboard sound webm related if you dare.

The sound wave would be roughly around the 10^92 Pascals order of magnitude. It would vaporize the planet.

10 more dB = 10x as loud
past 194dB it's basically just a shockwave
1942dB would probably delete anything it hit

Any game as long as vinny is playing

That's more satisfyingly loud than anything else.

youtube.com/watch?v=QR5rIJdd3f8

I love how the changing speeds seem like thrusts

FIRE EMBLEM HEROES~

This. It also reminded me of dragonball dokkan battles music when u first load it up. Accidently opening that shit in a quiet room with any sort of volume level on my phone would make people jump

space engineers menu

JUST AS IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN

The sound effects in Donkey Kong made my mom spank me once

HERE COMES A NEW CHALLENGER

DON'T DIE

Dark Souls 3, the dying scream from the pus of man.

Just fucking why. Christ.

>see pic
>hear the RO2 Soviet victory theme after having played 1000 hours of it

FUCK YEAH, ZE STALINA

Pictures that try hard to be funny and fail are so sad

Any of you fucks ever tabbed out of a aoe3 game? As soon as you tab in every fucking audio option is at max and even the sound of a sioux villager taking a shit in the bushes lets your ears explode.

youtube.com/watch?v=BgUzteADsRI

Not loudest but the most annoying

>DUMMMMMMMM

I should go play RA3 again

Squad opening movie

>when you kill more then 2 enemies at once
