LEAVE HER ALONE YOU FUCKING BORB

Too late, shes taken

What would happen to kirby if he ate a penis?

...would he become a lust penis?

Samus is greatful that Kirby took out the Metroid on Popstar and didn't have to explode his planet.

She likes his roundness.

Samus has spent so many lonely nights in space that even Kirby looks good at this point.

Samus canonically likes round things

>Samus has spent so many lonely nights in space that even Kirby looks good at this point.

Kirby always looks good you slut

...

Is Samus canoncally autistic?

Yes, how else would someone have such a single-minded focus into killing space-lobsters

No, she's canonically adorable

all the rolling took a toll in her.

*canonically

Sylux a shit

Just like Master Chief.

>federation
>sylux
this is why we can't have nice things

Samus has a soft spot for cute creatures, we know this.

she likes fat guys
he likes to eat out
you be the fucking judge, you fucking moron

holy shit

I wish Samus actually acted like this.

**cannonically

*cannnonically

Is anyone else afraid Tanabe is trying to turn Metroid into shitty Star Wars?
>keeps mentioning sylux and the boring ass federation as being pivotal to his future plans for the series
>no mention of exploring uncharted planets or ancient alien civilizations
Plus he's compared his plans for Metroid to capeshit, which sets off alarm bells in my head
I'm probably overanalyzing his statements, but I can't help worrying Tanabe might be set to become the Iizuka of Metroid

Samus like little cute things.

I'm extremely worried, he seems to want to focus on the worst parts of the series. No one fucking cares about Sylux. Just make another Metroid Prime 1 without feeling the need to finish any story started with the rest of this shit.

Since Samus is canonically autistic and Master Chief is canonically autistic, can they ever be together?

this is cute, who drew it?

That's the official Super Metroid manga, dude

Fucking this. Nobody plays Metroid to watch action figures shoot each other in space. We play it for isolation, atmosphere, exploration, etc.
If Tanabe wants to make a bland space opera, then let him make a new IP or something.

I’m pretty sure all 3 of the Prime Games included the Federation in some fashion.

Is Sylux even human anyway?

The first one doesn't.

We don't know.

kirby thread?

We don't mind sharing

Samus loves kirby, I mean who doesn't?

In Prime 1 they were just mentioned in a few lore entries. In Prime 2 they were more present but all dead, and faded into the background after the opening chapter. Prime 2 also did a good job at subtly hinting at their military structure without ruining the sense of isolation, since the player could scan their corpses and read their logs to learn a bit about them. They were well-integrated because the player still had to use their imagination if they wanted to think about what the GF's influence on the wider Metroid universe was like. And that's when Metroid is at its best - giving the player enough info to form an impression, but not being overbearing with how it expects them to interpret the lore.
Prime 3 started a trend where the Federation has become more and more prominent, though. I was *okay* with it in Prime 3, because the world designs were still cool and it made sense for capping off the Phazon storyline. But since then, between Fed Force and Other M the Federation keeps playing a larger and more clearly defined role in the series, which is boring. If I want space politics there are better games/books/films than Metroid for that.
Metroid should play to its strengths, and based on his responses in interviews, Tanabe doesn't seem to understand what those strengths are.

My hope for Prime 4 all lies in the fact sheet saying isolation & exploration.

A Metroid+Kirby thread sounds amazing.

haha do you think Kirby gets embarrassed when he's inflated?

Wow, I much prefer cute samus to lewd.

why not both?

That is some nice environment. a little messy, but I appreciate the detail.
What game is this? I've only played a the first game when I was younger.

metroid-database.com had translations for metroid mangas and dit this one. Until they gave their website a redesign in October last year and some pages are still not back.

Metroid Prime 3. This game and Prime 2 had some gorgeous environments. I'm hoping Prime 4 will have some moments on the level of walking into Skytown (Prime 3) or Sanctuary Fortress (Prime 2) for the first time.

I love Sylux and hope he appears in more Metroid games. Would've also liked to see Trace, Kanden, Weavel, and Noxus.

I'm laying a lot of hope on that fact as well. It just seems like everything Tanabe says contradicts it.
>I wanna have this bombastic adventure where characters from various corners of the "Metroid Prime Universe" come together and do a thing
>I wanna make it an isolated exploration-based experience

Having characters and interactions does not contradict isolation. Go play Hollow Knight.

Neat. Should I get a wii emulator to play or find a hard copy?
Still have my old wii but not with me at uni.

Prime 3 used to be one of the big popular Wii games that wouldn't work right on Dolphin, but a lot of work has gone into making it play nice with the emulator. If you have a decent CPU you should be able to play it.

3 is the only one you need motion controls to play, so while Dolphin does run it emulating it on PC might be hard.

That's a fair point - I still need to play Hollow Knight.
I guess what worries me more is Tanabe's language when talking about his plans for the series. Referencing The Avengers, talking about the "Metroid Prime Universe" like it's this thing we're suddenly supposed to care about, instead of talking about how any of this stuff is good for Metroid. He strikes me as another developer, like Ken Levine, Takashi Iizuka, or Motomu Toriyama who can't get his head out of his ass and focus on making a good game and instead focuses on "muh characterz n' yoonivers."
It's definitely possible to make a game with character interactions and a sense of isolation. I'm just afraid that Tanabe isn't capable of that.

>Referencing The Avengers, talking about the "Metroid Prime Universe" like it's this thing we're suddenly supposed to care about

I'm not going to ask for source because I choose to believe this is not true

>Metroid and Kirby thread
Is this a new level of comfy?
Metroidvania Kirby when.

MP3 feels like "Rushed deadlines and wasted potential - the game"
Bunch of scenery porn but later levels just feel bland and empty. The entire skytown had maybe two dozen enemies in total
In the end i was hyped up for a huge space battle where i could finally fly my ship and got a "they lived happily ever after - the end" instead

amazing mirror (the best kirby game)

There've been quite a few Metroidvanias that have shown that it's more than possible. Cave Story, Hollow Knight, Valdis Story...

Hell, even Prime 3 was reasonable. It might even have been great if not for the motion controls. Plus, giving Metroid a new antagonist that isn't Ridley is a good idea.

If they use Breath of the Wild as a model, I think they'd do fine.

Amazing Mirror needs a re-release with online co-op badly, you can't even netplay it on emulators & I hate it so much.

You can use motion controls with a real wiimote on dolphin easily provided you've got Bluetooth and a sensor bar replacement (two candles)

Sweet, thanks for the info!

you just know...

Overall, I like Kirby's Dream Land 3.

Grass Land is mediocre. Not bad, not particularly good. There is some fun to be had.
Ripple Field is okay, but a bit dull in some spots.
Sand Canyon is good. They pyramid level is great.
Cloudy Park and Iceberg are both got tier worlds.
Hyper Zone is a fantastic climax.

I don't think it's better than Dream Land 2, Super Star, or Kirby 64, but I think it's a bit better than Triple Deluxe.

If only that were true

Oh, I very much agree.
In an ideal world, Prime 4 would be an great game just like the ones you listed.
>Sylux would be a menacing and manipulative antagonist with believable motivations for hating the Federation.
>The Federation itself would be an intriguing web of conspiracies that has you second guessing your motivations throughout the game.
>The level design would be like a bigger and more labyrinthine version of Prime 1, but visually, it would be Prime 3 on steroids.
>Aside from looking pretty, the environments would be varied, with (hopefully) minimal focus on the Federation aesthetic, instead further developing the abstract alien architecture of Prime 2 and 3.
Personally, I don't like the idea of BOTW as a model if it means chucking the Metroidvania formula and making an open world game. But if "BOTW as a model" means building upon and rethinking the conventions of previous Primes while keeping the core intact, that'd be great. Going off what we know from the fact sheet, it seems like that may be the case.
However, after doing some research on the development of Prime 1-3, I've come to the conclusion that the main reason those games were good was because of Retro.
Tanabe was just be a co-producer for Prime 1, and the more influence he's gained, the more boring Federation stuff we've had to deal with.
I could be wrong about all of this, and Prime 4 could turn out to be amazing.
What ultimately worries me is that Tanabe doesn't get that there's more to Metroid than shooting bugs in space.

...

What does it say?

the pleasure of being cummed inside

ching chong yee ya hoho

I reckon Ado is only like 6 or 7

>Right
"Person"
S: "Thank you for defeating that Metroid"
K: "She's a human, just like Adeline"
"But, they're so different!"
A: "That's just the difference between an adult and a child"
K: "Oh, really"
A: "This is what I'll look like in the future"
K: "No, they're definitely different!"
>Left
"Pu" (This is kind of a quirk that Dedede puts in his speech)
D: "You're really good at art, Adeline."
A: "Really?"
D: "Yeah, this is a really good banana!"
A: "It's an octopus."
D: "It's an octopus that's cute like a banana is"
A: "I knew that you would understand, Dedede."
D: "It's a lie. But, I won't say that."

Real smooth De^3

Dreamland 3 is definitely the cutest Kirby game

Thank you

Anyone know what's going on in the middle one?

Good guy Dedede

Thanks user.

...

this Samus needs to be a cute space girl.

I don't think she's ditzy though like in that comic, it'd be interesting to see her in a non-combat setting.

Reminds me of Lunch from Dragon Ball

Samus a cute.

>Painting
A: "You can tell an artist's feelings through their art."
K: "This is me! It looks just like me!
"The art really shows Adeline's feelings"
"Who's this?"
A: "It's obviously Dedede."
>A Committed Person
A: "Hey... Ka-kun, what do you think of me"
"I've been messing around with you up until now but I really!..."
(The text in panel 3 says Batamon, which is a Kirby look alike enemy in Kirby 3. So she's bullying Kirby.)
>A Dissolving Apparition (It's a joke, dissolve is youkai and then the ghost youkai)
K: "Adeline drew a really strong looking Gooey for me"
"Ah, it really is strong!"
"If I'm with this Gooey then I can go as deep as I want into the water"
"Why did you draw him with water color..."
A: "My oil painting tools were broken."

Alright fags, favorite Kirby and Metroid game?

My favorites are Kirby 64 and Metroid Prime

Kirby canvas curse and metroid triple deluxe

>"The art really shows Adeline's feelings"
> "It's obviously Dedede."

Kirby: Either 64 or Amazing Mirror
Metroid The 10 minutes or so I played of Metroid Fusion

Super Star & Prime 2, these 2 games are in my top 10 in general actually.

Robobot and Super Metroid

I'm convinced the Chozo are actually a bunch of hipster college students in space, between the hippies on Tallon IV and the Steampunk shit on SkyTown

I really haven't played enough metroid to answer that.

...

>tfw I actually requested that.

Planet Robobot and Metroid Prime 2

Posting the best incarnation of Samus. If you're a Samus fan and you haven't read Samus & Joey, you're doing yourself a disservice. She gets to be a bad ass action hero, she keeps all that appealing mystery, but she gets to keep her humanity too, she jokes around, she still has some femininity, and she's not above a little silliness.

Chozo architecture can be a little flowery at times, but I dig it. It's more visually interesting than the gray metal hallways in most sci-fi FPS games at least.

...

super comes first, though zero mission is an incredibly close second
prime 1 didn't grip my interest when i got the trilogy off the eshop, so im not hyped for prime 4
i would've got samus returns if they put the speed booster and shinespark in it, fuck em for forgetting them

...

SuperStar Ultra and Zero Mission

Are you aware that Samus Returns has its own new hidden technique that works as an alternative to shinesparking?

the time slow, i know
i just wanna pull a sonic, running through all the enemies

I actually mean the spiderball powerbomb trick, not the time slow.
