Is it opposite day? The ports are bad exactly because they don't devalue the original. They are just lazy ports that don't add anything and are therefore just quick cash grabs.

And that matters how to the current audience? Only those who played the originals will know, car,e or make a fuss of it. Again, you paste your own views and concerns onto the average public that just wants a fun game to play. Video games are toys for entertainment in short bursts., not some pristine piece of art that must be kept unhindered for years to come.

I've already played half the games in the top row, give zero fucks about Kirby, and have zero faith in Sakamoto ever making another good Metroid.

As for the bottom row, I only care about Dark Souls and Dragon's Crown cause I never owned a PS3.

Only games I'm looking to get that I know are releasing in 2018 are UNIST and Yakuza 6. I also may get Red Dead 2, but I don't plan on getting it as soon as it comes out seeing as I'm not confident that it'll be good.
