According to OP, Aria of Sorrow is great, but Dawn of Sorrow is shit when they are nearly identical games that play extremely similarly, and have the same characters.
Both are fine games.

It's great, i played it like 20 times already.
It's overrated but also good.
Press up to heal in front of the statues, even more cutscenes that AoS. DSvanias suck.
I really like it but many people get triggered by it.

I'd like to get back into Circle of the Moon sometime. I got it on the Wii U VC but got lost rarely on and quit. It's the only Metroidvania one I've played besides Sotn. It has some pretty good music.

Shit, i forgot about the orginal. That goes in the great tier.

I bought 64 when it was new but I was never able to get far because the shitty camera and controls fucked me over.

It wasn't bad, but also wasn't good due to the many early 3D flaws. Legacy of Darkness was better.

You only like it because the song in the first area is surprisingly good and the card system was interesting at the time. The story is lame, the enemies and Dracula himself are forgettable and Nathan Graves is a boring main character.

I used to think so too, but it really isn't a problem. Camera can always be centered and when jumping always hold down A to hang onto ledges and you'll never fall.

Not that guy, but I really dig the sprite work of the enemies, they don't look as impressive as the other gba games, but they do look cleaner.

The soundtrack is probably one of the best in the series and the battle arena is easily one of the most challenging things in the whole series.

Wouldn't put it above OoE or AoS, tho.

Still. Putting it way down on a list because you can't handle a bit of storytelling, and the statues healing you? The fuck is wrong with you.
It was a fun game, and so were the other two DS games (OoE not so much cause of the weird disconnected world).

I agree it has some of the cleanest sprites on the GBA library. Sharp, not as pixelated as some other games and are fairly well animated.

Terrible list, Portrait of Ruin and Order of Ecclesia are arguably better than SotN. Simon's Quest is unadulterated trash.

If Dracula X is the worst, the series must be all 10/10s.

I thought Metroidvanias were not meant for me, but then I played Super Metroid and was blown away. Platforming has more attention put into it than SotN has.
