Pirated the Complete Edition with all the expansions, runs at 60 fps and takes less than 30 seconds to load a world. You are a shit.

My laptop can run it fine outside of the 10 minutes of loading. It doesn't heat up or anything.

You either have a very expensive PC or you're full of shit because the sims 3 is notorious for its performance issues.

It varies from world to world and how long you play it. Eventually the NPC's go full retard and get stuck behind something which causes the game to lag hard, a mod was made to automatically reset all NPC's when this happens because its all too common. It's why 4 completely removed the open world.

I played all of them for hundreds of hours, nothing is like Sims 3. I don't know there's just this feeling and general atmosphere that no game can replicate for me.
Even the bugs and performance issues are weird, it behaves so differently from any other game, I can't explain it

Shame, sims 4 has potential but they're mostly trying to be original with the expansion packs and doing stupid crap like "dining in restaurants" expansion. They only just added kids and pets, years after its release which is pretty damn basic for a sims game.
One thing they did right was Get to Work though, that shits nice.

The thing with Sims is that they're just doing the same thing over and over again. It's really formulaic, they release the base game and most of the expansions are stuff we've had before but packaged differently.

sims 1 nailed style, atmosphere and tone and was a perfect beginning
sims 2 was perfect in terms of how much content it had in the base
sims 3 got mechanics and systems right, including the open world and the freedom of the colour wheel right
sims 4 has the best create a sim

The easiest way to avoid this (for a while) is to get you that NRAAS master controller shit and for God's sake do NOT install Island Paradise.

I couldn't say, but I remember encountering it when I was younger and found out about it through google. I remember trying over and over to get past the first level (mom's house) but whenever you actually went to move out it never worked. Ended up returning the game after trying a bunch of times.
