the left one, obviously

Right Zero confuses my penis.

>Left one is generally cooler
>Right doesn't have lightbulb boobs

I'm conflicted

...

The original armor i guess, at least he had a gf, but the trauma of her death made him become asexual, and 100 years later he is saying "no way fag" to the best mega man girl in the entire series

...

just fuse them together and keep the original z-saber instead of the ugly glass sword

Left, by far.

...

I think the glass-looking sword has a degree of elegance to it. Plus it can cut more finely than what's basically an energy torch.

...

perhaps the new body lacked the necessary parts

stupid sexy zero it's like he is wearing nothing at all nothing at all

...

I wish that design or something even close was used for the true Omega boss fight instead of a recolor.

I like tall bulky Zero the best, from X1 to X3. For scale, Megaman X is like 5'8" and Zero is substantially taller and wider than him.

I like sticc Zero.

Zero.exe is underrated, i used to hate it, but it grew on me a lot. Plus I liked Network Transmission.

Truly, Zero was a Chad

>No Megaman Zero Revengence

Old Zero is cool
New Zero isn't cool, I just wanna fuck it

Right one looks like a child, his shoes are ugly, and they made his underwear even more apparent for some odd reason. It's "sleeker" but that doesn't necessarily make it better. X1 Zero is best.

BULLSEYE

ZX

Good design but I hardly used it once I got HX

> liking titty monster design

>For scale, Megaman X is like 5'8"
He's actually about 5'3" (160cm)

Damn, he's the height of a fucking high school girl

>He doesn't know

user... all mega man characters are mega manlets, haven't you read the design docs? X is 160 cm tall, 5'3 for burgers. Sigma is the only one that isn't.

That said I prefer the left. Stick design has a shit pistol and looks like a chump by comparison.

Good lord X is both a cuck AND a manlet

I'm waiting for Dr. Wily's (((true))) heritage to be exposed

Damn so sigma must be pushing like 10 feet then

>shit pistol
Holy fuck this, this was the thing about the redesign that bummed me out the most.
Arm cannon>>>>>>>>shitty plastic gun

No, he's like 6 ft.

what a perfect visual analogy Capcom gave us, thank you Inafune

I think the gun's fine. They were always trying to phase out Zero's buster anyway. Also, it worked out better for the Zero games, since the buster is supposed to be a weaker secondary arm compared to the primary saber. The game was basically built around the saber, so they deliberately gave him a dinky pistol over a powerful buster.

His in-game sprite in X1 is almost twice as tall as X's

The buster wasn't the focus when you played as Zero in the X games either though. But at least there you had a cool design for it instead of a lame-ass fucking gun.

Well, Zero.VRS and then Zero.EXE.

>in the main games never
>no MMXBN
FUCK

He ain't even particularly sticc.

In fact I would argue the buster was made MORE effective in the Zero games than it was in either X5 or X6

Retcon. Or perhaps it refers to his pre-Rebellion / first body. Eh, either way.

I think this was partly to emphasize the growth in skill and upgrades the player and X need to become dangerous to Sigma tho

The buster was very powerful in X5 and X6, what are you talking about? In the Zero games, it does far less damage than the saber and even at max charge, the shot is pretty small and can miss if you don't aim it right.

The way I figure, something that weak has no right being a part of Zero's body. It's better for it to be a gun that he picks up off the ground in those games.

I love the zero series's artstyle

I like the Right version better. But I don't have the emotional attachment to the classic one,I actively think its kinda lame.

It was a deliberate gameplay choice. Having too large a hitbox would give Zero an unnecessary handicap compared to X, and all the stages and bosses were basically designed with X's sprite in mind. It's more pragmatic for the two characters to have similar sizes and builds.

>Reploids are supposed to be more advanced
>Look bigger and clunkier than robots from 100 years ago

X series designs were a mistake.

...

...

It is likely Weil did make some modifications to Original Zero, or made the Copy Zero in the image he modified Zero into.
It was confirmed that Omega was with Weil after the Elf Wars ended, who is to say weil didn't change Zero before the war was over?

>The buster was very powerful in X5 and X6
Not really. It was pitiful in X5. It was sort of decent in X6 but that mainly due to having weird hitbox and applying extra damage when firing it at point blank. There's also that glitch with shield sheldon's weapon. In the Zero games a fully charged buster shot can actually do some decent damage to bosses, especially with elemental weaknesses. Not to mention that you don't have to remain stationary when firing it.

The official word is that the differences in design between series is purely aesthetic.

...

He's gotta be at least 8 feet then in that pic if we assume Zero's about as tall as X

More like Megamanlet

The green titty orbs are so off putting. His original sprite design was much better

...

Green titty orbs contain virus milky

holy shit I never expected to see this meme again, let alone here

I played the Zero series as a kid so I prefer that design since I think it's cool and have a hard time ignoring the weird green tits on the classic design.
Although this is definitely a great design that I agree should have been Omega's design.

Is this porn?

No.

Left because I fucking hated the right's design. And they put X in a dress in that series, too.

...

Funny enough, the artwork had the orbs and it wasn't technical limitations on the game's part.

Why can't I like both?

DEAD ON

twink zero is cute

I actually would have preferred this design more than that chibi shit.

Here's sticc's artist's pixiv. It's mostly toku fan art, but some good shit

pixiv.net/member.php?id=269672

Twink Zero for me, but here's a cute pic of X and Zero.

Uh, do they draw loli porn now?

I like the left one, something about the right one, how he looks he has no armor or doesn't look like a robot, its just not my taste

>now

Pretty sure he's always done that.

Nah bruh. He simply realized X was his tru luv

>now

Fun fact, in MMZ the gun shoots actual bullets before Zero grabs it and its ammo changes to energy once Zero gets it because, go fucking figure, Zero decides to slap his fucking beam sword into the magazine instead of bullets (which makes no fucking sense since he gets his saber from X during the first boss fight). I have no fucking clue how that retarded shit is supposed to work, but I prefered the buster, which drew power from the robot's generator directly instead of roundabout bs. Also, the Buster Shot Gun's stock gets in the way of the wrist and has the same fucking problem as Sora's key blade, while providing approximately none of the benefits of having a fucking stock on a gun. Whoever designed it is fucking dumb.

IMO, the vest, boots, and gauntlets also look kind of shitty and do nothing to sell him as a character I want to play.

If the buster's gonna be as weak as it is in the Zero games, then it may as well just be a pistol.

>fencesitting

Check these out. They did some short animations for MM zero

Right one is objectively correct. Also you always have people who go HURRRR IN MMZ3 YOU SHOULD HAVE FOUGHT ORIGINAL ZERO DESIGN FROM THE X SERIES when they're missing the point that it was just a different artistic interpretation.

Zero series had fucking gorgeous designs.

I choose C.

Kamrous best girl.

She's a real qt

So glad I managed to snag the Mega Man Zero complete works before it shot up in price. I haven't bought any other MM art books because I'm a poorfag but I adore this style.

Arguing that the strength of the weapon justifies the stupid design decisions surrounding it is A) moving the goalposts, B) patented false since the weapon is supposed to be firing the same (solar) energy as the Z-Saber, and C) not acknowledging the strengths of the weapon as a tool.

It's sad that the buster only got some fucking service during ZX, which took a too-little-too-late step away from the ledge of retarded design decisions by incorporating the gun into the sword itself and finally justifying why the gun would be handheld rather than built in (which is still disappointing to me, since I like the armcannon aesthetic).

I'm not saying using the sword isn't slick, but they didn't even fucking try during the Zero series to make shooting look or feel cool.

MMZ one would look good without the hair.

The boss designs in the Zero series are pretty great, but I find that the personalities they try to give to each of them fit pretty snugly in the "anime stereotypes" bin, which sucks.

I mean, that's just kind of the way it goes for the minor bosses. Very few of them had memorable personalities, traits or lines, but they only have a couple lines of dialogue. Leviathan and Fafnir got the short end of the stick in terms of screentime and personality, though; they actually talk about not fleshing them out more as one of their bigger regrets in the artbook.

I thought Copy X, Elpizo and Weil were all pretty great though. For example, I love that part at the start of MMZ2 where Elpizo tries to shake your hand.

What "goalposts"? I'm not whoever you were arguing with before.

The gun is meant to be a secondary weapon in the Zero series, not a primary. It does objectively inferior damage to the saber and its small hurtbox even when fully charged makes it harder to rely on. The game is meant to be played with the saber; its sheer damage and wide attack radius makes it far more useful the majority of situations.

Thinking about getting the (much cheaper) japanese version next time I do an import package. Love the artist's work

Do it man, there's a few pages of interview stuff in the back but you don't need to know moon to appreciate the gorgeous full page artwork. Plus lots of cool concept art for stuff like Weil.

Isn't the gun still the preferred weapon for most of 1&2, as you don't get the fully charged saber attacks for most of the game while getting the charged shot fairly early? Kinda silly thing to argue about anyways, keeping both charged constantly and using whichever is more appropriate is best choice.

Great now it hurts even more that there is no good anime about it

>not grinding in Azure's Falcon stage to get your stuff up to at least level 3 before the boss so you don't get buttfucked

If it makes you feel better, it has a manga that is seriously painfully awful, holy shit is it bad.

He isn't the only Mega Man artist who's into loli.

Not a surprise, Ive yet to find a manga adaptation of a game that wasnt shit.

>I have no fucking clue how that retarded shit is supposed to work
Note that charging only becomes available after getting the Z Saber.

God, I hated manga zero.
