Im a big Pokemon fan but I hated the original gen 5 games so it was years before I ended up picking up the sequel. ORAS were already out by that point.

Turns out I fucking love it. HGSS/Pt/BW2 are the holy trinity of Pokemon games for me now.

2/2 Smash and GR
3/3 FoF, Momodora, FATE. Haven't played any Pokemons past gen 4.
1/1 Smash. Chrono Trigger, Kotor, and XCOM are all in my backlog though

What made you like BW2 over 1? I enjoyed Black and I started Black 2 but I remember some shitty tutorial sequence with the musharna dream stuff and I lost interest.

I remember thinking that it seemed that exploration was a lot more opened up in 2 opposed to 1, you didn't travel in a plain circle anymore, also the game just feels so fucking full, it's pregnant with content.

Lots of cool areas like the sewers and secret grass patch in the big city, navigation was bit less linear, I liked getting non gen 5 Pokemon because overall I really kinda considered the whole all new Pokemon gen with only these guys thing to be a bit of a whiff overall since some of the Pokemon were blatantly fill-ins for their gen 1 counterparts.

For me B/W was okay, better tham gen 4 games but the sequels are by far my favourites pkmn games

Is enviromental station alpha that good? I've just downloaded it yesterday but have to find the right time to play it
RC2 is love

Story wise i liked 1 over but I just needed to have some older mons around
Volt white 1 fixed that for me

Oh I always play with romhacks nowadays. There are shit ones for sure but there's always one that just puts all pokemon in the wild and bumps difficulty up slightly, and the experience is hugely better than the default.

Plague Knight is the best campaign, Sly Cooper is amazing, and you love Roller Coaster Tycoon as well. Nice.

Redpill me on Realms of Arkania 3, looking for a nice old PC game.

comfy party dungeon crawling game that takes place mostly within a city full of intrigue, great music and atmosphere
it's the third of a trilogy which you don't really need to play the first two to understand, mostly because the first two suffer from terrible interface and not terribly fun mechanics
if you ever wanted to have an autism simulator and spend 10+ hours customizing a party, it's the game for you, though of course you don't need to in order to enjoy the game

MGS3 is one of the goofiest games ever made, what the fuck are you smoking?

ESA is amazing, IMO, though it really didn't dawn on me just how special it was til very late into the game. Up until that point it was just a solid metroidvania, but the lategame stuff is nuts.

I do play ELITE but haven't in a long time, I was always into the DoW2 campaigns than the multiplayer though the multi is great too. Played Chaos Lord.
