Bethesda wants to tell a story about the post-apocalypse because they think that's what Fallout series is about. Older devs want to tell a story about life after the post-apocalypse because that's what Fallout was about. I think both can exist. The question is when is the Midwestern BOS going to rape the living dick shit out of all the factions in the series.

Assuming you're not just shitposting, why do you say that? The West coast had more T-51b power armor, it was the site of the Enclave oil rig, the origin of FEV, home to the House Industries, Big MT/Big Empty, and the Sierra Madre.

Plus the Brotherhood of Steel and Shi were both founded on the west coast, and finally the whole area was bombed less intensely than the east coast.

All of the shit left behind by RobCo, the Enclave, the US Army and West Tek has already been reclaimed and put to use, and most if not all endings for OWB suggest that the Courier will introduce BigMT's technology into the wasteland when the time is right.

Big MT developed teleportation before the Institute did, and they did it better. The Institute needs some big fucking chamber for teleportation to work. Big MT had a handheld device that could fit in your pocket.
