Let's get it

Pass is vee
Come Sunday, we'll only have a few days left. Amazon might actually do some good and deliver it the day of release so that's good news, I can at least mess around with Chronicle Mode before the lobby takes up all the time.
Going to hold on for a bit because that's a 1 bar I'm staring at

I'll be right back

Wonder where this lag is coming from.

>Rice Digital has not shipped my LE yet

Hope you take some nice pictures of the artbook, user.
We might already have access to half of them but it's an apparently hefty 100+ page artbook

> Enkidu out ranges Wald
Even if I wasn't phone posting I wouldn't have reaction image to show my disgust.

Only through a risky 2C
You smacked me more than enough times for half a screen away and got your little air loop into a 4B

Let me make sure I'm actually on wired, that was pretty spotty

That was probably me. Internet has been choppy tonight.

X, you should try your 5B-B into 236A.
You can do an upwards motion to do your jAAA combo.
I've been hit with those a bunch against some Mikas online. Also that hip drop probably isn't safe on block

Still trying to figure out what to do after 5BB -> 236A
Didn't know that one, thanks.
It's not, I keep pressing B instead of C by accident.

Ah, alright.
I always just assume it's me.

Don't know if it's me or merk that's having the shoddy connection tonight. He's sitting at 4 bars right now.
You have to do the second 236A up after the 1st one hits and then you're free to do air normals.

Back to yellow.
Deserved.

I'm just not going to DP then, fuck it.

Merk was pretty far away man. The better time to throw out that DP would have been when he was doing that overhead and you put out your 3C too early.

No, I know it's my timing. I'm just gonna stop if I can't quit fucking up that hard

Now you're just playing angry

Shit, that connection was still pretty iffy.

A laggy day against a merk is never a good one

Didn't freeze nearly as much as the first time, though.

I'm considering taking a the Friday off just so I can play with all the new guys at launch.

I'm expecting maybe 4 or 5 new people at launch. There is no advertising for this game unless you count aksys Twitter shitposting as advertising

At least I'll be around where I belong then.

4 or 5 should be a decent estimate, especially around here. Some of the others might hop on in to experience the surge of players.
That is of course if their copies get delivered on-time. We'll be playing through the Friday + Weekend when it comes out.

I'm planning on picking up the Vita version. Pretty excited.

if I pick this up on PS3 NA version will I be able to play with you lads?

and also as a PC player who mostly plays GG, how do I keep pressure going with Linne? staggering the same button seems like a good way to get blown the fuck up and trying to cancel into hien doesn't seem to work either

One CVO away from a clutch win

Looks like I can't just gorilla mode vs X anymore.

This should have came out months ago. Its just going to be crushed by dbz.

>if I pick this up on PS3 NA version will I be able to play with you lads?
Yeah, most likely
In my case, I'm getting myself the localized copy myself for story mode purposes.
>how do I keep pressure going with Linne?
Staggering 5A
Reverse Beating into 2A/5A
236A/B into mini-dash
214A-A might be safe

Yes you can.

Nobody expects this to beat dragon ball.

Blame the chucklefucks at Aksys

Of course you can play with people who have nip copies. Stagger pressure is actually very good in this game since you have to hold down back to keep blocking so mashing reversals is difficult.

Or to even come close to it even if it did come out at a reasonable time.

It may have gotten a chance to get some airtime back in the fall when MVCI was imploding.
But right now, how many people are even going to try it?

naisu, I really want to save so I can upgrade from my pad but I also really want to have people to play uniel with
after reading the other post, I was using the wrong buttons and I must be retarded
it's a shame really since it's such a fun game, fuck the lack of PC release though

>But right now, how many people are even going to try it?
Not too many newcomers, that's for sure. There's already a small group of people who were stuck with UNIEL and now have the chance to play it in english.
And a few disheartened people from DBFZ itself if those disappointed stories are to be believed.

>And a few disheartened people from DBFZ itself if those disappointed stories are to be believed.
I thought most of those were people who just ended up realizing they didn't like fighting games and just wanted to play budokai or xenoverse again.

Hippie fix your internet for the love of God. Switch providers if possible.

That's the first time I've landed that j2C confirm, saved.
There might be a few handful who didn't end up liking DBFZ while being an actual fan of fighters. Maybe all those people who somehow like MVCI will drop ship now that its popularity is fading considerably.
Today just might not be a good day.

The range on that fucking Akatsuki 2B

That one was alright, actually.

Maybe training stage helped

Connection pls

Guess it's time to pick training mode all night

Guess not
Guess I'll sit out tonight

LMAO what is meter

Is meter even a thing in this game?

Sometimes I almost feel like I have three bars

GGs everyone.

GGs

ggs

X, sometimes a random 214C will throw people off.

Sure felt like that image a few times tonight

GG's also feeling tired and craving more Yakuza.

>Live in Australia
>This game isn't being released here
I could import it but there'd be no one else playing. I hate this country.

Only a week for what? This game is already dead on consoles.

GGs

GGs
Just a few more than, X

>Consoles
Where is it anywhere else though

> Hasn't released yet
> Already dead
Try again bucko

It's most likely going to be, but the game isn't even out here yet.

I wanted to play this damn game for a while but i didnt know a new iteration was already coming out till now so i ended up buying guilty gear yesterday instead. Goddammir

Guess you're playing both

>UNIST
what is this weeb shit acronym stands for

So x, work on
-The 5BB > 236A to air confirm
-No more hip drops in blockstrings
-Get in the habit of using meter to end a round

Welp you guys are officially used to my shit. That didn't last long, I expect icy to catch on shortly as well.

The hip drops are still me trying to get in a dashing 2B but messing it up.

Me? Catch on?

You're getting into the spirit of things and if people are getting used to your shit, then it's time to innovate and change things up.
Maybe go watch the Over the World video again and see how Eve's Mika dominated the scene.
Also, I'm not entirely sure if you should be using 214B at all. The start up is slow so anyone expecting the command grab will see it coming. That being said, trying to make people panic shield is probably something you want to get better at so maybe throw some more frantic 2As in there before using your other normals.
GGs, you're actually making progress. I'd say get better a tick throws. Might do some more Mika research on my own and see what would help.

My random bullshit is what you guys are getting used to so I'm trying to pay normally now.

>pay
play, goddammit

Now you just need some better footing.

Got that bookmarked, mainly for the part about CS'ing better on the defense since I can't get it right. Even holding 3 seems really dangerous when I try it.
Oh well GGs.

One step at a time.
Try to CS out of pressure and immediately into 623C. Work on that.
Alternatively, do the same thing when someone is jumping or airborne. They can't block grounded attacks.

i played uniel and im considering getting unist however the game being niche even among anime fighting games makes me hesitate as i dont want to spend 40 dollars or however much it costs only to play with the same 5 people, basically what im asking is if there's an, at least, somewhat active online community for this game outside of japan?

It's not even out yet, how should we be accurately gauging that when the only western audience it has are the people who imported it? That should be around half the fans while the others who were waiting for it will hop on regardless.

The tourney scene is growing nicely, if that matters at all.
