Why dont they make more Dragonball games like this?
Hell, why not more Shounen games using a similar concept? Stuff like OP or HxH would be perfect for this sort of gameplay.
Why dont they make more Dragonball games like this?
because fuck creativity and effort. dragon ball fusions wanted to introduce something new to the games and most players hated it for not being yet another generic 1v1 anime brawler. Webfoot showed some interest in the LoG franchise a while back and even shared some ideas for games om their facebook page but that ultimately went nowhere
Yeah I feel the same way.
I want to like Fighterz but I'm just beyond shit at fighting games.
That's why I actually liked XV2, they actually tried to make somewhat of a story driven RPG.
But I wish they would go all out again and really put together a nice little RPG together again like the LoG series.
Because fighting games print ez money so they will keep making FighterZ and Xenoverses. We will never see another Legacy of Goku or Attack of the Saiyans style game again.
cry me a river
you too, fuck off xenobabby
samefagging are we? Try harder baby.
>HxH game
Does that even exists?
Fuck off back to your Faggyz thread
Legacy 2 was gold
To be fair, they had a pretty hard rough start with Legacy of Goku 1. But still, it really does feel like every publisher sees easy money in fighting games rather than daring to approach franchises like LoG/BF did.
2 had the best difficulty and balance scailing while 3 (buu’s fury) had more refined RPG systems while beimg piss easy. A perfect LoG 4 should take cues from both
Yeah. It didn't help that you could just put on the weighted training gear and gain a shitload of exp with pretty much no downsides.
Is the company who made the LoG series still around or is the dream for a new game dead?
And what material would they draw from for such a game?
OG dragonball
Just make up a new story.
sequel when
These games are old enough now that it'd be plausible for a full-series reboot at this point. And if not that, then there's not only the numerous movies that can be weaved in, but also Super which sells major money nowadays.
they might as well be dead. webfoot technologies, check their website
Dragon Ball, Super, GT, movies, etcetera. There is no shortage of material to work with
So, Dragon Ball saga retellings, or action RPG beat-em-up with a custom protagonist on an original storyline while not quite retreading Fusions or Xenoverse
Why doesn't Vegeta use the dragonballs to wish for immortality like he originally wanted to?
He's in a position where he can get them at any time he wants.
Becoming a good guy shouldn't really change the desire for immortality, if anything that would help him protect his family.
Didn't mean to quote
I feel like he’s too proud for that by now, with his reason to change his goals being goku’s transformation. He wanted to be immortal merely to out-cheese frieza, but now that he’s powerful enough to supposedly go up against the supreme deities of some universes he might have become too stubborn to simply press the “I win” button, relying on training instead
That makes sense.
>And what material would they draw from for such a game?
Super, easily
I fucking love Fusions. The combat's like Chrono Trigger, with the addition of being able to send motherfuckers flying.
