OK, so a while ago I noticed no one was doing any score challenges or speedruns for The DW series. I pointed it out on a few forums and asked what people considered would be the best way to run the games. I spent maybe 30 hours PLAYING DW 2, and a few hundred in each 3, 4 and 5. Mostly coop because we enjoyed the challenge the game offered on the harder difficulties. I knew the games well, but not well enough to establish a baseline for speedruns or high score challenges... or maybe I didn't know speedrunning and high scores well enough to make the call on what would count,

Literally that year (that month really) all of the games start to get speedruns recorded. This was a few years back. I decide to speedrun a few titles and get 1st place easy, but some joecocksuck said my scores were invalid because of any reason he could come up with. Then another cocksucker said the same. Pretty much all the people from the forum I asked about, were now trying to stop me from taking their top speedruns, which I took by large amounts no less.

About a year after this, I still hold DW3 with no contest but plenty of queries into how I did certain things, while I have a few people ahead of me on 2,4,5. I watch the videos of their times and see people clearly cheating and call them out with a 3 hour long video of how and why they are cheaters, as well as how my DW3 times are not cheats and are legit and to stop questioning them.

Speedrun.com called me up and we talked for an hour. All DW times erased and no one is allowed to post a DW3 time ever again.

Oh I forgot. About 20 people were banned or suspended because of this. I can still submit but I decided I would rather play new games daily than one game over and over.

Pretty much. I started doing it because I was good at a certain game series and knew I was (as well as had knowledge already there). When it came down to endlessly playing the same game to finetune myself, I stopped.

The other players attitudes are why I decided to make the video. I didn't want to see a bunch of fucks get their way as they act like shitbags.

i do, idk if it's true now or anything but once upon a time i had the most amount of goals in a game ever in the soccer style server in continuum/subspace. it wasn't even that many since most people dog fought for fun rather than playing the game, but i did it.
