It's automated. They've said it years ago they will put all events into Automated mode and since then people know exactly what event will be next. There are already schedules for everything.

You can find people here and there, but not as many as you would like to. No, there's no monthly fee. Just buy game and play.

Nope, no fee. It's a great game, it has aged, but it's good. It's very easy to get into, but has a lot of depth and content if you're looking to spend a lot of time on something.
On the negative, there really won't be much people to play with. You can find a guild with some regulars who are willing to team up with you through the game, I'm sure there's a lot of people who'd like to do that, but there's no more pugs and stuff like that for missions and quests.

no retard, what are you smoking? all festivals have been converted to static content that automatically activates and deactivates. you don't even need a client update for them anymore. it's been that way for years now

GW1 is definitely not a mainstream game anymore. If a friend of yours is playing it, then you could have fun with it, but otherwise you might get turned off by the lack of community and active players.
If you just want to play anything that isn't moba, there's probably better choices. Don't want you regretting that purchase, user.

I'd go back into vanilla wow since its free but the community is toxic like in league of assholes and now im playing solo. I really find it hard to find something multiplayer thats not a fad or played by literal children.

no fee good game, might be able to find a trial somewhere online
if ur looking for a large active guild with players that will do content with you n help out, seek out [LGiT] if you do get GW, they got multiple guilds + alliances, and if you ask in alliance chat, you'll usually be able to find a snigle person at least that cna help out if not a few. also if you do run into someone in a mission outpost they'll generally want to go along with you unless they're just vanquishing or playing hardmode or something
you can still find pugs but theyre rare. hardly ever full human team though unfortunately
