25+ year old club, what video games are you gonna play this weekend?

Blogposting/support group featured but let's also have some vidya discussion too.

Zelda BotW, best game ever.
Also playing Splatoon2 and Pokémon USUM with my girlfriend.

Probably some Transport Fever or give the new update of Factorio a try. I was also considering buying Mashinky to see how is that thing doing. Or finally finishing Prey.

I have one last level to do on Doom for Switch. I'm also working on Soul Reaver on Dreamcast and Tenchu Wrath of Heaven on PS2. Might pick up Dissidia later today. Maybe.

I too need to finish prey and to my dismay it's a lot longer than I first thought it would be.

>videogame
pso2, oj100%, l4d2, and will try killing floor 2
finally found a weekend to play with my friends

Subnautica, Star ocean last hope, assfaggots.

Probably just wow, I'd like to unlock the allied races one day. Most likely I will spend more time messing with my new record player.

-Splatoon 2: salmon runs and ranked
-Continue with XC2. loving it so far
-beat some time trials on mk8dx
-aaand maybe some huniepop

trying to do Planescape, finally after BG 1 and IWD 2, is it just me or are the side quest bullshit? I can't find any of the people the game ask me to find.

Not this weekend, but on my next days off I'll be picking up MHW and sashing it like crazy.

I've been learning japanese. It's been more fun than playing video games.

>videogames aren't filling the void anymore

The last eight post high school years of my life feel like a dream

Gwent and Tekken. It's nice when you realize that teamgames are not for you and you can simply just spend your time chilling in Gwent or getting better in Tekken instead of raging at kids in League. Also the worst part about getting old is watching your health slowly detoriate, fuck that

I just finished the Splinter Cell Franchise and now i dont know what to with my life.

The same shit I play everyday. tf2. Even though I don't like it anymore. At least I get to play with some of the same people each day. That's nice, I guess. I'm getting stronger as the years go by. Physically, anyway. Not mentally. Urge to have children just increases, and I can't take it anymore. Too much of a loser, though. Oh well.

Which one was your favorite and why was it Chaos Theory

I'm so fucking glad I'm only 18

im 24 but im very mature for my age. i will be playing cod ww2, minecraft and gta 5

continue playing Dishonored 2, maybe try out the new Spergineers update, and if i'm really lucky my torrent for Divinity Original Sin 2 finishes

my internet is borked so i can't play anything mp

I work on the weekend, so I'll at best play a few matches of DBFZ, or play The Division with some friends if they are around at the same time. Or maybe I'll just draw some porn.

Wrapping up Subnautica and MegaMan Battle Network 3. Feel a little sad I'm about finished with Subnautica though, it's been fun.

Then you should leave this place and go make a life for yourself.
>implying it's not too late for you

Best level design and gameplay. Amazing co-op.
The PS2/Xbox version of Double Agent is great too. Its pretty much Chaos Theory 2

Finally got around setting up a modded Terraria and TF2 servers on a spare machine, even registered a dynamic DNS so nobody has to type the actual IP address.
In about a week there's been only 100 different players connecting to the TF2 server, but since the player count never picks up, and they'll only stay for a few minutes at a time. Highest it ever got was 4. I'll never forgive Valve for the murder of community servers.
I still play DuckGame just about every night, when there's actual people online. Always feels good to knock people off their high horses. Getting added and never speak to them again is also a frequent occurence.
And I discovered the Neotokyo soundtrack yesterday and haven't stopped listening to it. I'm not too good at twitchy FPS but the soundtrack alone makes me want to try it out.

CK2 and Warband.

Playing FF6 for the first time.
I can understand how some people think its the best one in the franchise, i cant stop playing. 7 is still my favorite though

Civ6 and nhl

I'm 26 and burned out on almost everything really fast.
Currently playing the shit out of Mario Odyssee, Subnautica and Dragon Ball FighterZ

Best games: Windwaker, the Splinter Cells, MGS and Super Castlevania 4

Working 40 hours a week sucks

But t him but I also just finished CT since my first time 10+ yrs ago(??) and my god it was every bit as good as I remember. This is a game that could use remaster though with more realistic lighting and with less forgiving enemies. By that I mean you need to be in an extra dark area to not be seen. Too many times was I able to stand right in front of them in fairly visible darkness and go unnoticed. I haven't tried the hardest difficulty so maybe what I'm saying is all pointless.

Yup. Vidya is honestly the last thing I want to do anymore. It's fucking weird

Right now I'm going through my Star Wars Collection, and I'm having the most fun with pic related.

I wanna Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition, but it's not launching, so I had to contact support, have to wait til Monday for a response.

Just finished playing Xanadu NEXT. Dont really know if I am playing anything else this weekend. Dont really have a lot of time on my hands.
Wanted to finish Misao and maybe will play some Super Mario RPG.
Tommorow I will maybe restart Diablo 2. Although none of my buddys want to get back into it.

>Working 40 hours a week sucks
No it dosen't, it makes the few hours of gaming that you manage to squeeze in THAT much better.
The grass is always greener on the other side

I haven't played it for a while, forgot where I left off and now I'm stuck all I remember is Kefka fucking up the world and Celes being stranded

27 here. Finally got a job as vidya journalist so pretty happy about that.

Playing DBFZ, Full Metal Furies and Divinity : OS2. Also I just finished Mario Odyssey on Switch and BotW's DLC.

I finished Bloodborne a little while ago and am in a rut now, trying out many different games now, but nothing has really stuck so far, currently playing Shadow Hearts and it's ok I guess.
Won't be a problem much longer, since I got cleared by my doctor to start lifting again, so I'll mostly be focusing on that and hopefully I won't be so burnt out from video games in a while.

Total War: Warhammer 2

Enjoy it my nigger! It definitively is under the top three of all FF Games.
>40 hours a week
I work at least 60 hours, sometimes even more. I really dont play a lot of games anymore, but it is not bad, I guess.

I'm honestly not sure, but I might jump back into Monster Hunter for a bit. I'm trying to get into "self improvement" mode a bit, so gym/running/writing is taking up most of my time when I'm not working, sleeping, or taking care of errands, so I haven't had much time for games as of late. I've got a ridiculous backlog too, that's only getting bigger as time goes on.

>State of Decay
>Lightning Returns
>Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4
>Dragon Quest Heroes
>Mad Max
>Shantae Half Genie Hero
>Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2
>Walking Dead Season 3
>Tales of Berseria
>Berserk and the Band of the Hawk
>Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy (on 2)
>Mega Man Legacy Collection 2
>Cuphead
>Shadow of War
>South Park Fractured But Whole
>Super Mario Odyssey
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2

That's also not to mention all the half finished Oculus VR games I have, and a whole shitload of SNES roms that I have on the SNES Classic. I'm definitely understanding that phenomenon now, where the more games you have, the less you want to play them.

25. Me and my buddies got real burnt out on Siege so we've been playing the various Unreal Tournament games. Movement and hopping in UT4 alpha are great but the bots are super aimbot broken and the flak cannon is useless. UT3 is the most stable but it's missing a lot of great gamemodes. UT2004 is a classic but the aiming is so janky that it's almost unplayable. There's no proper middle ground so we play one for an hour then switch to another.

Been thinking about replaying Killer is Dead because I need me something cuhrayzee to liven things up a bit.

>27 here. Finally got a job as vidya journalist so pretty happy about that
Please do us a favor and never write clickbait

The first thing on the road to self improvement should to put any thoughts of a "backlog" out of your mind, just play what you like and don't worry about it.

No doubt you'll be writing the clickbait that easily triggers this place

Republic Commando is the best. I wish it would have gotten some more love or even an expanded co-op mode. If you dig cheesy scifi check out the books from the expanded universe written by Karen Traviss.

You seem to have not mentioned the superior UT99, because if you're not playing that, then I'm not sure what you're doing.

Sadly never played that one. Will definitely try it tomorrow. Grew up on 2004 so I'm up for something new (or old I guess)

>never write clickbait
Might as well tell the poor sap to go hungry and die. Clickbait IS video game "journalism."

That's a fair point.

Shadow Warrior just came to games with gold so I’ll keep playing that. Seems pretty fun so far.
Other than that PUBG and Rocket League probably.

I'm 33 with a wife and kids. I work 56 hours a week in a factory. I don't have time or energy for anything, but I'll try my damnedest to help out my guild mates in injustice 2 at some point this weekend.

>25
>playing video games

I just listen to people play video games these days. Put on some YouTube, turn off screen and listen to a playthrough of Senran Kagura Peach Beach Splash for the next 8 hours.

I got a list lately...

>BotW
>FE:W
>Super Meat Boy
>A Hat in Time
>Celeste
>MH:W
>Maybe some Overwatch

Also just got my 100% file on Super Mario: Odyssey complete, even made sure I did the alternate harder ending, got all the costumes, captures, etc., and maxed out my coin pouch to 9999. I have such a bittersweet feeling completing that game to the maximum. I want to erase all of my lovely memories with it and go back in time. I know I sound like a fucking soyboy Nintendard but deal with it. These are some of the best games for videogaming, historically, period, and the Switch is responsible for so much of it.

I'm not usually one for FPS and I scarcely game anymore, but SWRC gets me returning back on a hourly basis.

I really wanna get into the EU as well, but I didn't know where to start, thanks for the advice.

Kek you are a walking meme

I combine both.
I usually have a non cancer streamer on as bgm and lower the game volume to 15% while playing

oh and I forgot Mario + Rabbids, currently getting my ass kicked in that game, weirdly enough.

For Honor and FFX.

I like to listen to Destiny debates while getting 100% in my many platformer titles

Playing Cuphead Im at the Dice King.
Its pretty easy but I am having trouble with him,I dont know how to jump? over the cards without taking damage to get to the pink ones.
Haven't played a game over 2 months because life.

Kek I know how it sounds like but don't worry, I try to be pretty fair when reviewing and I don't like Kotaku's headline more than you.

Also after working in a supermarket for years this is a nice change of pace.

I was 18 myself when I first started going on Sup Forums. Now I'm 25. Leave while you still can.

I watch a lot of video game editorials and analyses of games I haven't even played.

>I watch a lot of video game editorials and analyses
Please get some education.
Its never too late, please do yourself a favor.

I've been playing Tekkit Classic lately after not having touched Minecraft in years.

Lately I got this huge boner for everything x-men related.
Last game I finished was mutant apocalypse and currently working on clone wars.
Anything worth of notice on newer consoles?

>I work 56 hours a week in a factory
I'm 25 and working as a dentist.
I have time for everything.

What d'you mean? It's relaxing/entertaining to watch if not a good way to keep up to date with vidya.

FYI I study games tech at uni.

...

I liked x-men legends a lot.

A good stream on the side is so nice I feel.
I usually either have a non-cancer type streamer or just the new Rifftrax twitch channel up, and putz about on whatever game I'm currently playing.
Which on that front so for is slowly conquering my fear of deep water in Subnautica, probably going to start FF12: Zodiac Age soon, and playing my own guilty pleasure of Monster Hunter Frontier.

I’ve been watching speed run analysis videos (often of games I’ve never played) that go into way too much detail for an outsider of the community and I don’t know why.

Finished X2 by pulling all nighter on Friday night, now got nothing to play. Feel empty as fuck. Great game.

Nico live streams are nice especially if they have the moegoe tag where they sound like retarded loli anime girls while playing video games.

All analysis videos Ive seen suffer from terrible and I meant terrible writing style equivalent of a high school essay with little to no understanding of the tech, knowledge, limitations that game creation requires.
Not to mention no notion of coherent narration without insertion personal opinion with no relevance to the quality of the game.
You seem like a cool guy,go to /lit/ pick up some books to read in your spare time.

Those are fine though since you can learn a lot about the game.

>Be 25 year old NEET
>tfw still have a bad habit of spending way too much time on Sup Forums, even though I feel like I'm too old for this place these days and I also feel that Sup Forums has become way more bland than it used to be.

what the fuck is with this retard trying to redirect every single dude on this board?
is this some kind of mental illness?

Just finished Dishonored 2 and Knife of Dunwall.
Really disappointed that Knife of Dunwall was so short. Wouldn't mind playing something similar but don't know what that'd be.
Had a look at Styx but it looks a bit shit and I hear nu-Prey is a let down.
Downloaded Subnautica but don't think I can deal with the crafting/survival.

I'm trying to stop plating ''tactical'' multiplayer games which I've loved since I was a kid because I rarely play them with a group
R6 Siege is an incredibly frustrating experience and I've found I'm miserable unless I win easily and even then I'm just preparing to be miserable next match.

What difficulty did you play on?
I was going to play CT again but remembered all the collect 1/5 objectives but I'm too autistic to play on easy.

Bots and kids.
Dont pay attention to it.

More like people left.
I barely lurk or post here anymore and the poster count is obviously sinking.

I've only been playing Wild Hunt for the past month or two, because I missed the hype train back in 2015, easily in the top 10 of my favorite games of all time.

>and the poster count is obviously sinking.

I have noticed that threads on Sup Forums tend to last longer than they used to, and it took longer to get from 300 million to 400 million, than it took to get from 100 to 200 million, and 200 to 300 million.

Where do people go from here, though? I've been around for 12 years now and haven't really found a better place, despite being a complete shithole most of the time.

You'll be 23 - 25 and it will feel like all you did was blink, leave while you can

Check out the republic commando books for, well, books. The Star Wars Tales comics are also really good. They're more of a Twilight Zone what-would-happen sorta stories, which is fun.

The thrawn trilogy books are also pretty cool.

Real life, or afterlife.

Probably going to play som PUBG but might start up Morrowind as well. Can anyone in here recommend Hollow Knight? I've heard a lot of good things about it but i'm still not sure if i should buy it or not.

You're scaring me.

>Where do people go from here, though?
Who knows.
I think most of the hard core crowd moved to infinity chan but they are also slow.
In practice I avoid talking about vidya IRL or online besides Sup Forums.
People are seriously losing interest in video games and I want to keep the magic for myself without arguing with retards.

WarThunder, LoL and GRID
And gonna get stoned and drunk as fuck, fuck the world I'm tired of you.

I'm reinstalling WoW, it's currently 7 AM and I'm still drunk from last night

Was supposed to work out but shitty weather ruind my plans. I only have a ps1/ps2 and a decade old PC.

Recommend me something I most likely haven't played that is good.

GRID is pretty fucking cool game.

32 years here, planning on playing some fighting games.

White Night on PC.
The game is amazing and published by Activision recently.
It plays on a $200 acer laptop 60fps locked.

I've been here since I was 16, currently 28 and live with my parents. You're here forever.

Going to be teaching some scrubs Terraria with a few small mods.
I'm mostly going to build shit while they explore and act as a more in-depth guide than the Guide.

Alone, Breath of the Wild and REmake. With the wife, Game and Wario and some DKC2.

Well, I'm just gonna leave these here.
