Game creates a save folder in My Documents

>Game creates a save folder in My Documents

>uninstall game
>leaves behind tons of shit in appdata and registry

>PC “gaming”
Found your problem

hey look a console bab whats to start a war, what a surprise

>uninstall Blizzard App
>it literally won't uninstall unless you let Blizzard Agent access internet
>let it access the internet
>Blizzard App finally uninstalls
>agent is not uninstalled
>agent stays active in the background
yeah uhh umm yeah

>thread is about shitty things that only happen to PC games
>get upset when others call out how shitty it is

Then we can do our own falseflag threads complaining about the shitty update system on PS4 just to see you defending it, dumbass.

Go ahead, I won’t see it though.

Why don't all games just have their saves and config folders in the root folder?
I honestly see no benefit in scattering them.

I think so it's not as easy to find the save

>game has .ini and save files in appdata

>game doesn't start unless some random, unrelated process is closed beforehand

>posted from windows 10 chrome

if you accidentally delete the save file in downloads you deserve it for being a brainlet

And who benefits from this?

>legit copy of a game from steam
>wants to edit some files with notepad
>its all chinese

>game is made in unity
>start it
>my shitty pc starts to audibly make noises

>get new hard drive
>format old hard drive to use as another storage drive
>make sure anything I want to keep is backed up on other storage drives
>time for taxes
>forgot to save my 2016 turbo tax save file

Posted from my ps4 actually, bytch

>letting other software do your taxes

you know you can get your old tax forms off of Turbotax, right? as long as you're using the same account

>Americans have to do their taxes themselves or pay for a software to do it for them

>paying taxes
pleb.

>uninstall any blizzard game PTR
>it re-DLs any chance it gets

would fuk

Eh, so many programs create a folder in My Documents that I've adapted to it. I have a single specialized folder where I put *acutal* documents.

Because it requires higher level access to write in your program files folder than in you %appdata% folder. Rule of thumb, you want any program to run with the lowest permissions you can.

Is there a way to delete the stuff from the registry?

>config file needs a hex editor to edit stuff like FOV

>false flagging this hard
Try harder, lowercase-kun.

>Config file can be edited but you'll be banned even tho you're playing the game in solo mode
>Config file can be edited to make the game looks nicer, but it's considered as cheat by the developers

>windows has a dedicated folder for saved games
>no game actually uses it aside from doom 2016

>game force you to ban the same banevading poneposter
>For free

LEE

>Dead Space creates a folder named "Electronic Arts" for the save files, and a folder named "Electrontic Arts" for the gamepad config.

>old ea games created an EA GAMES folder
>new ea games create Electronic Arts folder

I did not believe you so I checked this shit. What is wrong with EA?

>D44M is the only to actually use the Save Games folder
Microsoft literally prepared a folder for the devs but they never use it.

>Haven't used origin in years
>Punkbustr remains on in the background
