So is 2018 going to be the year of co-op games?

So is 2018 going to be the year of co-op games?

It'd be really nice if multiplayer games and esports shiteatery stopped being considered on in the same but I really doubt it.

I like this new trend, feels like we're going back to the good old days

Esport will be contained to CSGO and overwatch, and thank god for that. Though we will probably see more twitchbait

>Esport will be contained
Literally every multiplayer game on the market is sick with wannabe competitivefags.

fuck you.
good old days were with good stories and narration. not some grindfest of blend vivid worlds with friends

Why the fuck is it always 4 players or less though?

Why can't we have a co-op games where it's 6 or 12 or 120?

Co op games are cancer. Death to normies (unironically).

That's what I'm saying, no company will try to make "esport" games since the law breakers blunder

Needs splitscreen coop

Needs more hotseat

>good old days were with good stories and narration
The 7th gen is now "The good ol days"?

Out of those three, Vermintide will be the best, Hunt Showdown is on its deathbed already unless they manage to turn around some things before its release.

and fuck you too.
this coop cancer is gone too far

>This dying and uncommon form of game has gone too far
lel

>this coop cancer is gone too far
>It hasn't even started
Kys my man

Vermintide was hot garbage. The second one will be too.

Confirmed for playing only on Easy and Normal and assblasted about loot.

Vermintide 2 will not be the same as 1 in nearly no aspect, everything will be revamped.and you btfo.

oh cmon. you like grindfest, then ok.
but dont pretend that this is good game designe.

>loot

Did you even play the game? The gameplay itself is what sucked. Left 4 Dead was way better and released years earlier.

wew. loot from ass raping shit?
some green-blue stuff . or minimum dice all the time even with all grimores ?

fuck this game

How can the gameplay be better if you just mindlessly shoot anything without a brain?

I have fucking 700 hours in it, L4D couldnt keep me for barely 24 and thats with friends and mods combined.

Its deep as a puddle mechanic and content wise.

In Vermintide you have to know how to use your weapons and the mechanics to avoid getting fuckked by specials and hodes at the higher difficulties, maybe stop playing on piss easy.

If all then the L4D gameplay is braindead and noexistental.

Then dont play on easy or hard you dipshit, the game throws loot at you atm, it was way harder to get it back then.

The devs know this and changed it in 2 you iwll get more loot and specified for your char that you play.

Thats it, if you played for the loot and got burned by it its your fault for playing a game for such a thing. After a while loot is meaningless aside of trinkets, reds and hats, that you can get through the Q&C board.

More things to do and more tactics doesn't mean better gameplay. ARMA 2 literally puts me to fucking sleep, but I can play Battlefield 4 for hours despite being a much simpler game.

Its about the execution. Vermintide feels like a very flat, dull, game. It has to do with the combination of how the characters move, the audio, how the weapons feel, how it feels to kill enemies, etc.

The game is praised to have one of the best meele gameplay, I have problems to understand ho you can choose L4D over Vermintide in terms of gamplay.

You get better in Vermintide, either with your cahracter in general or with a certain weapon.
I just dont see in happeing in L4D.

The gameplay is also more challenging with the tomes and grims adding a high risk (still low reward through RNG, this will change in 2 ofc) reward system.

I think Vermintide has enough features etc to make itself distinct from L4D and even superior.

I would like to hear the things you didnt liked about it.

>atm
fuck off. it was shit back then and now i dont want to deal with this anymore years after.

The game literally throws oranges at you...
You get them so fast through games and the board its not funny anymore.

You only need one piece of weapon each, because you can change the traits.

You can even get reds through the board.

Be assured that game 2 will not have those problems.

Hunt and Sea of Thieves are both PVP

The best way I can describe vermintide is killing the enemies felt like shooting cardboard cutouts, while left for dead it felt like shooting humans.

Like the woman who used fired. I tried her out, and when I used her the fire felt like I was shooting sparklers and little fire sprites. It didn't feel like shooting big explosive fireballs. But the enemies would still die from me booping them.

I played both games with close friends, too.

>overwatch

>Esport will be contained to CSGO and overwatch
>Overwatch

If you really haven't put Dota 2 in single place you are a moron

I'm talking about shooters, otherwise I would have mentioned starcraft and fighting games

...

Well its not a shooter, its meele orientated with ranged options, those depend on which char you take and which weapon they wield each weapon is different.

You likely used the Bolt Staff, there exist a Fireball Staff that shoots exactly those big fireballs you wanted.

You just lack overall experience and knowledge in this game but I cant blame you, it takes time and skill to learn things and discover their existence.

I had more fun with Vermintide, all my freinds bought some stood long with me some didnt, but all got the second game already, waiting to play.

Already pre-ordered vermin2 like a good goy. Doubt I'll be buying anything else this year.

Good choice my friend, you have superior taste.

Can I joint the winning side and be a rat in vermin2?

No but you can suck a troll's cock.

Why be a rat when you can be a Zealot?
