I DIDI IT, Sup Forums! I got all of them, I got all of the endings from Zero Mission. And I managed to do trick like precise wall jumping and diagonal bomb-jump while I was at it.
I had this game since more or less day one but today, I finally completed the gallery.
I liked this game before, but now I can see how much of a well designed piece of art it is, depending of the ending you aim for, the map take a completely different turn. Obstacles and enemies you never understood the presence suddenly become a challenge and it is fun when you have overcome them.
Alternate pathways you never used before now get a new meaning.
All in all, I'd say the harder was the 15% run on hard mode. The rest is just patience and repetition, but for 15% on hard, boss fight really get intense and you ammo management become essential.
All in all, I had my fun. Intend now to get on the rest of the narrative order, so unlocking all the ending of Samus Returns (already finished it once), then Super metroid (never played before it before, I fist wanted to get all the endings of Zero Mission, and then Returns of samus came out) and then finally get all the ending of Fusion (finished it a while ago, but I am still missing the 100% in less than two hour ending).
Nice game. Great series, for those who have never played Metroid Zero Mission IS the best way to start.
loved Zero Mission too, preferred it to Fusion yet to try Super, everyone should play a Metroid game at least once

Those image are actually set more or less in order of difficulty to get. Squinting your eyes enough, you might even be able to get a story out of it.
>easy/ more than 4 hours on normal/hard ending: The pirate base is destroyed, but Samus decide to visit other part of Zebes, She is just sitting there resting a bit after having fought an hard fight.
>2-4 hour on normal/hard ending: Removing her helmet, she enjoy the air of her former planet of adoption before departing.
>less than 2 hour with any% on normal/hard ending: She just arrived on the spacio-port where the Space-pirate ship she had taken was probably decommissioned. The zero Suit is all she had left to walk around in civil after her own ship got blown up during the game.
>more than 2 hours with 100% on normal/hard ending: She just bought some clothes and is taking some me-time in the city...
>less than 2 hours with 100% on normal ending: ... And enjoying some drinks.
>less than 2 hours with 100% on hard ending: A last look at the city before getting home.
>15% or less on normal ending: Finally home resting next to her window, waiting for her new ship to be ready.
>15% or less on hard ending: That night, some dream of her recent adventure.

I still don't know how people can manage a perfect Stealth run on Zero Mission youtube.com/watch?v=VEtP264Hf6g The first space pirate is already impossible, it require to be frame perfect to pass just this one.

Hey, Zero Mission is one of my favourite video games of all times. You are incredible OP, I have no idea how to do 15% runs so this is groundbreaking and remarkable.

Essential items you can't finish the game without: -Morph ball -Bomb -1 Missile tank -Power grip -Ice beam -Varia suit -Unknown item 1 (Plasma beam) -Unknown item 2 (Space jump) -Unknown item 3 (Gravity suit) Those are 9 items that make up for 9%, that leave you with 6 more items to fill up to reach the 15% limit. My advice: -Speedbooster -1 Energy tank -4 Super Missiles
Several tips: -Kill Ridley before Kraid. You can actually cheeze Ridley by remaining constantly between his two foot-claw, he becomes unable to attack you. -Kraid take only 3 Super missile to kill. Because you have kill Ridley First, you now have super Missiles when facing Kraid. When the Krid intro start, directly press R and Spam the B buttons (while having carefully selected the Super-Missiles before entering the room). has Kraid rise from the Floor with his open mouth, he is just level to you at the very start of the fight. If you spam the Super missiles while the Kraid intro is still playing, it's an instant-kill. -Black Space pirates at the very end of the game can be cheezed like this: youtube.com/watch?v=bu5gZe5rs3M That seems cheap, but that trick alone turn the 15% on hard run from a literally impossible task into a challenge that can be accomplished by mortals.

I had to save-state my 15% run

>15% git gud faggots, 9% or bust

Also: -Against mother Brain, crouching on the right platform make so the miniguns can't aim at you. -If you crouch on the left of the screen, the claw of Mecha-Ridley can't reach you. Just jump to avoid the fire, 4 timed jumps. -It takes 10 normal missiles to break the glasses of mecha Ridley (he will shoot missiles you can destroy when you run out of your own missiles and get amo from it) you can destroy all of the missiles by shooting diagonally first then horizontally, while crouching. -Once the glass on Mecha Ridley is broken, it takes 4 super missiles to get him. if you are skilled enough, you can fire the 4 super missiles in a row right after it is broken.. So, after he has taken 9 missiles (or 1 super-missiles and 4 normal missiles). Make sure to refill all of your amos and wait for a claw attack. Right after the claw attack, jump-missile five time in a row (it will automatically switch to super missiles after you run out of normal missiles) and it' an instant kill. this allow to avoid the second phase of Mecha-Ridley entirely, which is way arder because of the Laser that are much more difficult to avoid.

I don't have the Japanese version.

Emulator? Well, maybe you are smarter than me, I had to buy a new battery and charger when I dug out my old GBA SP. Only used normal save, but it still wasn't easy.
Anthony Scott
You don't need the Japanese version. you need the European version for 9% hard.
either way 10% hard is an acceptable substitute.
Ayden Anderson
sounded fake as fuck
Alexander Howard
I've been able to skip all the other pirates except that one at the start. It's shit. You don't get to hear the whole stealth music.
Jacob Smith
You need one additional normal missile or super missile for the EU or US version, or you can't get pass a room and finish the game. the Japanese version "fix this" by making the missile-destroyable block destroyed forever. See: metroid2002.com/0/version_differences_9_percent_hard.php So for the non-Japan version, it's a 10% run at minimum
Anyway, if you want to see a minimal (10%) Zero mission speed run on hard check the record: speedrun.com/mzm/run/7z0eg9om It was done during a AGDQ and it's funny to watch.
Lucas Carter
My bad, I got confus.
Ethan Baker
Having done a 9% Hard run, 15% Hard sounds easy as fuck. I wonder how many of my 6% can be energy tanks.
Isaac Walker
If you can manage a 9% already, all of them. Or better yet, make all of the 6% Super missile, for additional damage.
