You'd think the caravan people would both to make actual roads instead of using old busted asphalt.

I was doing that at first until I got about 75% of the way through the base game and discovered the abandoned shack just outside town. It took forever to move 1000+ lbs of stuff all the way out there.

Nothing gets deleted from almost every container in the game it has to be something that respawns items, if anything its more risky to leave things in the Lucky 38 suite because of your companions taking whatever they want so its safer to leave stuff in the lockers on the casino floor. I just use a mod where you can get your own mobile truck home that uses flamer fuel to travel between certain landmarks you've discovered.

Play them in release order; Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, Lonesome Road. Also the game will display a pop-up before the final mission confirming that it's the last thing you'll do and the game will end, at that point you can save and complete anything you want before continuing.

Why wouldn't you just store it in the lucky 38 guarded by your own robot army?
