Single player RPGs now have multiple season passes

>single player RPGs now have multiple season passes
why do people still defend Square Enix?

Call me old fashioned, but I just buy the base game and will only get additional content if it's the best game in the world. That has yet to happen.

the problem with FFXV is that the story literally doesn't make any sense unless you play the DLC story episodes

Is the Royal Edition the complete version, or should I wait another year?

That's why wikis exist, user. Or let's plays. Unless you REALLY REALLY like the game, don't pay out the ass for it.

Remember when Fire Emblem Awakening jewed us all with DLC and the subsequent backlash on Sup Forums ? I still see daily FE threads on here, fucking makes me sick.

>Is the Royal Edition the complete version

it's "complete" as in it has everything that has been released for the game.

but no 2nd Season Pass content

>why do people still defend Square Enix?
no one defended Square on this.
>
>only get additional content if it's the best game in the world
this
>the problem with FFXV is that the story literally doesn't make any sense
lol wot. the story is simple as hell.

they're doing a 2nd season pass after the """""complete""""" edition comes out.
>no one defended Square on this.
every PC-only faggot on Sup Forums is gobbling up their shit right now.

>every PC-only faggot on Sup Forums is gobbling up their shit right now.

That's a shame, because the PC version is gimped shit.

Yep, but they just want to be spiteful and brag about "taking" a former console exclusive even though the game itself is dogshit

Funny as hell. I have a gaming PC, and I bought a PS4 for FFXV when it came out. Still haven't played it.

I don't see the point in wasting HDD space on console games, because they are optimised for, and work better on, consoles.

especially when FFXV is like 100GB

>Is the Royal Edition the complete version

honest as fuck advice from a big fan of the game:
>watch the movie (important and best part of the whole thing)
>play the game with a guide that gets you straight to the story parts.
>you can easily defeat the bosses underleveled
>in fact it's better this way since they are easy as fuck
>Ignore EVERYTHING else; including side quests and DLC
At about 30 hours you'll have the complete FF XV experience, waiting for a complete edition is a meme, you don't even need the royal edition. Seriously the less you play the better, trust the user who sunk 130 hours into this game.

Is it 100gb on PC, too? It's something like 80gb on PS4

>Seriously the less you play the better,

why, is it bad?

>>watch the movie (important and best part of the whole thing)
>>play the game with a guide
this sounds like a shit game

Really? Even the character specific DLCs aren't much to write home about?

>FFXV is such a dead horse that threads have the same exact OPs and posts now

Well you sound retarded. Ignore everything this faggot says.
>watch the movie
>watch anime episodes as you're camping in chapters 3-5 for best experience
>do some side shit just because it takes you to pretty locations and lets you fuck around on chocobos
>play ep gladio while camping in chapter 7 for best experience
>complete all dungeons before you leave the continent because dungeons are best content in the game
>do hunts and bet on fight in Altyssia before you move on with the quest there because you'll want to soak in the comfyness
>do the next two episodes at obvious points in the story
>play comrades after the game

>needs a guide to get to the story parts
Are you female? At what point was it not obvious where you should be going to proceed with the story?

>why, is it bad?
not really, it's just that the more that you play the more you realize how rushed the game is. play it with a guide. only go to the story points.

>Really? Even the character specific DLCs aren't much to write home about?
Probably the worse DLC ever in video games. Trust me.

>Probably the worse DLC ever in video games. Trust me
No, don't trust this faggot. What are you talking about. Episode Ignis is literally the best bit of the entire game.

>At what point was it not obvious where you should be going to proceed with the story?
I'm not saying that. It's just that the narrative of the story is so thin and spread, you don't want to lose time.
>shitposting.

>shitposting
Hey go fuck yourself. I present my opinion, debate it or fuck off
