I played for 4 hours having to adjust with the right analog stick not only exploring but during battle. It doesn't come close to other good ARPGs both in combat, camera, story and graphics

It would have been if it was multi-plat. Nier Automata sold over 700k copies on Steam alone. There's tons of weebs on Steam who would have bought Gravity Rush 2 - weebs who basically buy every weeb game, shit or not. However, since it was on PS4 it had to draw from the PS4 audience which is mostly dudebros who play FIFA in Europe and CoD in USA. So what's left? Japan, that's where it sold.

It didn't help that it had nowhere near the same word of mouth advertising that Nier Automata did, but I think that's secondary. The FIFA chumps don't buy this stuff, even if you advertise it to them.
