This makes your owning of the game completely useless, because it needs to authenticate to a server to let you play it.
What I do with denuvo games is I buy them on steam, do the first authentication, put them on a sandbox without internet and refund the game. Then I finish the game before it wants to authenticate (like a week usually).
OR just wait for it to be cracked which doesn't even take that long lmao.

You're close to how I broke the demo though, it's really too bad the chocobo sequence didn't turn into a debug menu sequence though, I guess they disabled all the UI drawing routines.

yeah you can change the key binds to stop the constant attacking and break out of the benchmark pathing by just holding wasd as noct approaches the rental, no exe edits required
the issue we have right now is
a) no camera control except sometimes when attacking an enemy
b) if you reach the camp, level up t he chocobo while riding it, reach the next day a dialog message will pop up asking you to press circle to continue. this can't be skipped and the game softlocks. we have tried binding circle on a DS4 controller and it doesn't work

if you actually notice performance drops in a denuvo protected game your shitty rig is below spec to play the game in the first place or you're an autist who cares more about the numbers his perf monitor shows than the actual game.
