Kenny was always starting shit with Lee for no reason in season 1. He isn't your friend he's a psychopath who always has a weird tunnel vision for one objective. Whether it's "muh boat" or "muh town"

The first couple episodes of season 3 were great.
But the ending felt rushed as fuck.

That said, I personally prefer apocalypse stories that are happening months after the outbreak, not years.
I don't find all the "everyone's wearing traffic cones and frying pans for armor 'n we're trying to rebuild society" to be all that compelling.
It also gets harder and harder to suspend your disbelief.
