Never played this one grandpa, but I bet it's outdated.
Fuck you, CODIWs' campaign was fine as fuck.
kino
It was suprisingly great, a lot better than that boredom WW2 and AW.
It's sad how people missed out on the campaign for this game because of hive mind anger. It's also sad that they literally didn't put any of the mechanics of the single player into the multiplayer. The zero G combat was great and the ship missions were also great. I also loved how the whole thing is seamless with no loading screens or time skips. It's weird how they put so much effort into this even though almost nobody played it.
Nothing like listening to a pedophile tell me about how infinite warfare has become.
>jetpacks away
upbote
still probably the most challenging fps campaign i've ever played
>hardest difficulty == AI are meth guzzling aim bots
>terrorists will actually execute hostages if they hear you or become alarmed
>operators have perma death
that and I have no idea how to beat that one penthouse (i think?) mission without using an exploit
i'd be willing to pay money to see someone beat the campaign
>on hardest difficulty
>without losing a single team member
>All that shit introduced
>MP was just Black Ops 3 2.0
This shit isn't a meme. It's legit amazing.
I've always liked CoD campaigns
SoC is objectively kino
this is an irrefutable fact
>black ops 3 2.0
>3
>2.0
He's not wrong. It's just another BO3.
>call of duty 4: modern warfare 2: 2: remastered
ya dont say
The only FPS campaign that i beat in those years, so worthy
It was trash as fuck. Not even worth a pirate. Get taste. Get help.
It was at least okay, as almost every post CoD MW campaign is, both from technical and storytelling standpoint. Do you get mad at Marvel flick too? Yes, those are extremely corporate, planned and dry experiences, yet that what stop them from being truly trashy.
Oh you just being clever
SoC is the only Stalker campaign that is quite good. Stalker can and does work as an open world game, but the clear objective of SoC gave the player the necessary momentum to move forward, even though he has the choice to fool around with sidequests. The system based gameplay also provided tons of replayability even though the game quests are quite scripted.
Retarded as fuck faction war of CS or incoherent quest line of CoP do not have the same level of enjoyment. I have no idea why people want these stupid freeplay mods, even with permadeath they get boring fast.
Why the fuck was this game better optimized on PC than BO3?
CoD development cycle is 3 years per a game, that's why there are 3 studios working on a franchise. I've read in an interview that despite they working on a same franchise they actually don't communicate much. Some games that get released further down the line are being build on an older engine, so they can both look worse and have bad optimization. Treyarch is also notorious for not giving a single fuck about PC optimization, people had the same issue with Blops 1 back in the day. Apparently Black Ops 2 also had optimization issues, though I didn't have any.
Among the CoDs I played (CoD1 up to BO2, minus console exclusive titles), CoD1 and MW2 have the best campaigns.
CoD1 has actual tension compared to all the other CoDs that followed it and it has deadly enemies that really test your reflexes, meanwhile MW2 is extremely varied and handles its very ostentatious and complex scripted events gracefully and with causing only minimal downtime for the player. These two campaigns also have no infinite enemy spawns unlike most of the other games in the series.
Overly large levels and recycled levels dragged the game down a lot. I still haven't mustered the willpower to start mission 10 because it's so huge that it's going to take me a week of playing nothing else but the game and dozens of retries to come up with a plan that will yield no casualties.
The Faction War mod for CS is an actual good freeplay mod unlike Call of Chernobyl. Very in-depth NPC interaction and an economy that actually makes you work to get by.
So sad it didn't sell well...
