Constantly beg for PC port

>constantly beg for PC port
>they release it
>it sells like shit

Why do they even bother porting games for this platform?

Are you shietposting or what? Those numbers are pretty good desu

>constantly beg for PC port
what, where? did i miss a petition or something because i've hardly seen anyone asking for yet another shitty FF game to get ported

>near 40k in 4 days is shit
uw0tm8

How is almost 50 000 in 4 days bad for a 12 year old game?

They would've turned a profit after 10 000 sales, considering the effort involved. Not to mention that it will sale much more over time.

There is pretty much no reason not to put a game on Steam, as it will make you money over a very long period of time, after just a small initial investment.

>pretty good numbers
>it sold 100k on PS4 in Japan alone during the first week

>Denuvo
>$40 bucks
That's why.

you can even emulate the fucking game, why would anyone beg for it? lmao

That could perhaps be because Japs and weeaboos, who almost exclusively play on PS4, are the main demographic for an old Final Fantasy game?

So? half of that for a 10 year old game on pc thats been out for a few days is pretty great (you) retard

Also this. I've even played it on a emulator, pretty much without any trouble at all.

>12 year old game
>ask for new retail game price
Why isn't this selling!? What did we do wrong!?

>Denuvo
So it's not even the definitive edition? kek

>add in denuvo and put off people from buying it
I'd have bought several more games on steam if they'd not had denuvo. Wont even bother pirating it, nor any of the other games that have it.

>people constantly remind you that it is explicitly explained in the very fucking steam spy site that its data aren't reliable at all for the first two weeks after release.
>game gets released
>OP exploits unreliable data to shit post.
>he probably does the same exact shit every time a pc game gets released.
People like you should be banned on sight.

Those sales are great though and that number should continue to rise for about another week before slowing down.
That's already starting to beat out the sales of some other Square games on Steam (World of Final Fantasy for instance)
Also Strongly isn't all that accurate for the first week of sales, and you OP are also a shut poster that doesn't look at game sales contextually.
A week hasn't even passed yet for this release

>Want to do everything 100% this time
>Collect all the items
>make sure got all the missables
>yes its looking good
>ah what this license system, yea i'll pick all the quickening willy nilly
>locked out

this game is impossible to play 100% without a guide

Those numbers aren't real time user, give it a week at least until we can say anything

>Quite a few people on PC also own other platforms
>They already played it
>Release it at bnew price
Wow, whodathunk.

>baby's first SteamSpy thread

the fact is that nobody begged for it, it was just a remastered game for ps4 that got a pc port and automatically the console faggot say it was only ported because pcbros begged for it.

Nobody cares about Denuvo outside a few mouthbreading neckbeards, and even half of them have no clue why they hate it.

Because it's almost a decade old for a platform they don't make anymore. It's literally free money now for very little investment, since it can continue to sell until pc is no longer supported. Selling 4 of them online with no overhead makes more then selling 0 ever.

But I bought it

It adds big yellow notices to the Steam page about scary software and agreements.

>didn't hide DP

sup fagget boi

>50k is a lot
Imagine lying to yourself this much. FF12 is bombing because it's a shit game that was delayed and also uses Denuvo. They did this to themselves.

Bought it and still not sure if I like it. Am I fucking about deserts and sewers for the whole thing?

What does DP mean?
It is, especially considering its going to keep increasing for another week. Also when looking at sales you should be using the game's peers for comparison on the platform. Its selling faster than a good number of Square games on PC (World of FF, FFV, FFVI, Star Ocean 5, Romancing Saga 2, I Am Setsuna, and Lost Sphear to name a few)
I'd postulate its selling faster than a lot more but these numbers are too early to tell.
Not the whole thing, although a lot of it. You'll be fighting through forests, palaces, and caves after a while

>organizing by pc-ports
Eh, what's the point.

>What does DP mean?
Double penetration.

Double penetration inside you ;3c

It's not, you delusional fanboy. And it's already been 5 days. it bombed.

Its just something I can screenshot to prove I buy things. Only reason its sorted that way

Those are good sales for Autobattle XII, especially since people now know it's barely a game unlike when it was first released.

>10 year old Final Fantasy game selling at $40

sqeenix should count their blessings final fantasy has that kind of selling power after their recent round of flops like Dude Sex MK and bottomless money pits like FF15. nobody in their right mind would normally pay full price for a game over a decade old just because consolefaggot developer finally deemed to put them onto PC as consoles are dying globally, replaced by Gacha smartphone "games"

>one of the shittiest FF games sells bad
who would have thought

no one gives a give

>12yr old game
>$40
>Denovu
What bothers me most about Denovu is that your game is tied to an online activation on the Denovu servers. If those servers go down, which they will cause nothing lasts forever, you lose access to that game. It ruins the purpose of porting a game to pc in the long term ownership and not needing to buy a new version with each console generation.

>denuvo
I'M GONNA FREAK

>mfw Tales of Berseria's sales plummeted compared to Zesteria when they added Denuvo in

The thing is. 12 just was not a good or fun game to play, despite what Sup Forums might try and say.

Why is dog unhappy

Obviously they bother because it generates profit, you dimbfuck. At least learn of a few basics about programming and economics before acting like an utter fool.

>release a free game for 40 dollars
>doesn't sell

Woowwwww

>constantly beg for PC port

Post source.

>constantly beg for PC port

Every gaming group has a bunch of retards with bad taste.

Denuvo can and already has been removed officially on certain games. If Denuvo goes down, the DRM can be removed. You can still buy and install Bioshock nowadays, and that had a pretty crazy DRM back at release as well, which is now gone.

nobody begged for 12

Actually it tends to play out like this
>Beg for PC port
>Buy it
>It's broken
>Community scrambles to mod it because the devs won't patch it
>Can't play game for like a month
>Game is finally playable
>Appears in Steam Specials for 1/3 the price
A lot of us have gotten wise to this bullshit.

I hope devs take note of this and stop releasing games on the PC for console games.

>Already paid for itself as a port multiple times over
>W-what a flop!

This is why people stop coming here over time

This, i considered a purchase but ultimately dropped it for exactly these two reasons. I'll get it later for cheaper and without Denuvo.

>release a free game for 40 dollars

$20. Should have been $20 but since they inserted Denovu crap, they need to charge more to pay them back and still have enough left over to make profits.

I know it’s bait but for everyone else, you don’t have to sell a billion copies to be considered a success. I fuckin loved original ff12 and never got to play izjs so I bought it and am gonna play the hell out of it. I hope other people get the same feeling I get when I play this.

You're completely at the mercy of Square Enix one day removing it though. They have a long list of games that are already cracked and they didn't remove it still, years after the fact.
They already got your money so I doubt they will give a shit.

Because anybody who wanted to play already did on PS4 or 10 years ago.

waiting for the crack

>40£ for a fucking ps2 game

lmao be grateful I bothered

why is ff12 the same price as ff15

i actually was going to buy it till i saw it had denuvo

>denuvo
>$50 for a PS2 remaster

I already bought the standard and collector's edition plus the game guide. I'll wait for CPY's crack next week.

The game already exists on PC but whatever I bought it anyway it's like 12 years old

>Denuvo can and already has been removed officially on certain games.
has squarenix ever done this?

They probably wasted more money in the denuvo license than in the port.

No. Automata got cracked during the "guaranteed months" and they were supposed to remove it, like Bethesda removed from doom.
But they probably already tossed the code of automata away and refuse to patch the damn thing for any reason what so ever

Retard. Denuvo kills SSD's

It's funny how effective FUD can be.

>Get PC port
>It sells a million copy
>save the franchise

How many of those copies are from sales and bundles?

Denuvo gets cracked after a while anyway, why do they even bother?

>1/3 of owners never played it
nice

>no one asked for it
>it came out anyway
oh no what a travesty, more JP PC ports.

I’ll buy it once it’s 20€. It’s a good game in my opinion and it’s been a while since I played it, but I won’t spend that much on a replay.
