I start and stop this game in between major releases. The combat is fine but whenever I fight big groups, everyone just blocks. I have to sit there and wait for someone to attack so I can counter and even then each enemy is a fucking punching bag. What I am doing wrong?

Different enemies respond differently to your attacks. For example, fat guys cannot be grabbed, but are unable to block regular striking moves. You have to exploit each enemies weaknesses and use the right moves.

With any luck we'll get a mix, Cantonese while on the streets, English whenever Pendrew's onscreen, a mix of both when Wei speaks to Raymond and that lady who gives you cop side missions.

Hydration is important. Drink fluids and be happy you don't have a truly frightening bacteria/parasite that makes you shit/vomit for days. Those can actually kill and you probably wouldn't be posting if you had them.

There's a guy who kicks people a lot if that's what you mean.

I don't know how far in the game you are, but try and mix up every move you've opened so far. It makes the fights much better and you won't have a problem with groups of enemies. That's one of my favourite parts of the game, when there are a lot of bad guys and I can use every move I can, environment, jumping off walls kicking 3 guys in the face at the same time, etc.

in the last great sleeping dogs thread some user recommended a specific order one should play the dlcs in, I guess it was based on their quality
what would you guys say about it? I looked it up and saw that year of the snake was the last released dlc and as far as I can tell it kinda ends the story, but that user said it's the weakest of the dlcs, and advised to play it first, to leave the better ones for later
