She does use a different tone when voicing Gohan. It's easier to hear in regular conversation. He sounds more reserved than Goku.
I prefer Herbert for Adult Gohan, but Nozawa doesn't just copy paste her voice.

Besides, if anything, fans in the West need to stop trying to make anime into something that isn't Japanese because of some strange aversion to Japan.
The FGC tries to split fighting games into "real" and "anime" despite both using the same tropes and feel.
In discussions about certain anime, like Miyazaki films, Cowboy Bebop, or DBZ, people often complain about anime clichés despite those works having them as well, implying this underlying need to separate those works from the category of "anime" to avoid stigma. The "hiding your powerlevel" closeted guys come to mind.
Accept it people, you have loved and played Japanese created things for years, no amount of trying to shame others by calling them weaboos will change that fact.

Kale and Caulifla are fine, and even in better in the manga. It was about time we got some female saiyajin in the forefront, and another universe where the race became more peaceful mercs was the perfect place to do it.
Originally, Toriyama made the Saiyans a little too one dimensional as a race, so it's refreshing to at least get this now.

The biggest differences are:
- Kale seems less Hinata-like...almost angry even
- Cabba recruited Kale (instead of Caulifla recruiting her). Meaning Caulifla and Kale aren't as close
