This reeks of marketing.

Which is the best one to get? There's like 10 different variations and I don't want to mess up and have a comfortable experience with 3DS games.

I have an original launch unit that they stole 80$ from me for while delaying all of the games they announced for the system worth playing, the Persona Q one still in box because it's SMT and I love the franchise (Persona Q and SMTIV were god awful), and the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate N3DS.

I hate the fucking 3DS. I have honestly not touched it since I hacked it, and the last game I actually got any playtime out of was Final Fantasy Explorers.

I'm glad the Switch is so much better and finally killed this piece of shit, and fuck anyone who remembers it fondly.

a hacked one

I have an aqua blue O3DS and a gray N3DS XL.

Probably Pokemon Omega Ruby.

Gunvolt.

The ones you get for free via Freeshop.

Shit. I keep it off.

link between worlds model. i'd get a NEW new 3ds but the one i have was a gift and i don't plan on buying a new one
mario kart 7
can't say i love any. but the etrian games look interesting
best one i have is liberation maiden
total meme. only use it during cutscenes and intros haha. playing star fox in 3d is pretty neat though

gunvolt! forgot about that

OG black N3DSXL
Kid Icarus Uprising
Tons, I'm getting into them one by one considering I just hacked this thing and I don't think I'm ever fucking going back
Gunvolt
Shit

Friendly reminder that this is LITERALLY the best design.
2dscucks need not apply.

Maybe but with how easy they are to hack it's harmless. Only stupid people would buy a 3ds game at this point

>model
white new 3ds non-xl
>favorite game
animal crossing
>any new franchises
i got picross for free and man its fun
>best eshop game
animal crossing
>thoughts on 3d
its good for porn

Only recently picked up a n3dsxl for night shifts, with pokemon and some layton game. Kinda could see myself liking layton games if they make more about Katrielle. But I'm getting more mileage out of Pokemon.

The 3D seems fine on the rare occassion something actually uses it, but I'm also glad that's not too frequent.

Is it worth it to get a N3DSXL to replace my 3DSXL?

>SNES PAL Edition
>Metroid SR
>DQ, I'm thinking about picking up an Etrian Odyssey or a SMT game to discover new franchises

>O3DSXL
>right now probably mario kart 7
>fire emblem
>don't have any, waiting to upgrade to a new 3ds before sorting out my NNID shit and buying some
>pretty much never use it. would upgrade to 2dsxl right now if the system itself wasn't so aesthetically unappealing.

what colorway is this? european SNES xl?

>cian og, blue xl, Zelda xl gold edition, Zelda edition ,monhunt edition, Pokemon edition, pikachu edition, blackfrydai edition, 2ds xl edition, poke ball 2ds xl edition.
>pokemon, monhunter
>none

Whoops meant to quote not OP

>Oh golly a secret image from Sup Forums! I'm totally going to scan this!

no way fag.

that hair on the screen is triggering me

I Can't Computer: the Post

But these are the least faggiest things ever

>Shitty position of the nub
>Screen looks less sharp
>Annoyance of SD card access
>No faceplate swap
Far better than the 2DS abomination, that's for sure.

3DXL.
I don't have one.
Senran Kagura
Cave Story, not 3D.
It's kind of nice, and comfy, but I wish it had a better screen resolution.

Please remember not to lewd the dragon

sexy blue buttons

>3DS I've had since launch finally kicked the bucket
At least they're super cheap now and still easy to homebrew.

>n3DS XL which I wish was a 2DS XL because it looks better
>Etrian Odyssey series as a whole, Stella Glow, Rune Factory 4, Devil Survivor Overclocked
>Gunvolt
>Gunvolt
>literally never use it

i got my fill of 3D 240p porn when i first got a 3DS and looked up some MPOs in the browser

>>What model do you have?
Red OXL and Hyrule NXL
>>Favorite game?
Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker or EO2U?
>>Any franchises you discovered on the system you now love?
Ever Oasis, Etrian Odyssey
>>Best eShop game?
Boxboy series I suppose?
>>Thoughts on the 3D? Favorite uses?
I love the 3D and always have it on when the game uses it, depth based 3D is fantastic compared to popout. Kirby, EO, and FE Echoes used it very well. It also was immensely satisfying in ACNL, although I no longer play ACNL. KI:U's was nice, as was TLoL. Really looking forward to TAA.

>>What model do you have?
2DS Cheese Wedge
>>Favorite game?
Fire Emblem Awakening
>>Any franchises you discovered on the system you now love?
Fire Emblem, Etrian Odyssey, and Kirby because I never really tried Kirby games until 3DS.
>>Best eShop game?
Pocket Card Jockey
>>Thoughts on the 3D?
I had a 3DS model, but because of my eyesight I had to hold it on skewed to enjoy the effect. It was kind of neat, but always turned it down. 2DS is perfectly fine.

The 3DS is the last real portable handheld. It's a shame it looks like Nintendo is abandoning Game Boy models in favour of expensive hardware when there's clearly a market for cheap and portable gaming still. I don't believe smartphones displaced handheld gaming. Handheld gaming was simply abandoned and people moved to mobile phones because they had few options.

The cheap 2DS is great if you don't want 3D and don't care about playing the few games that require a New 3DS or New 2DS XL model. It's the best price and can play almost everything the other models can. It's also built like a small tank and I suspect that with a screen protector you could use it as a frisbee.

The Switch is a nice toy, but a shitty handheld. It's too expensive to toss carelessly in a pocket or purse. It's too bulky to be truly convenient. It's great for home us and limited travel or trips, but the 3DS is superior as an on the go device you won't freak out about if you happen to lose. Truly, I miss the days of the GBA SP. The 2DS cheese wedge is the next best thing.

Yeah, tell me about it. I'm a brainlet so I paid sixty bucks for Etrian Odyssey V yesterday. That might not sound like a lot of money, but for me that's pretty much the only thing I can afford for a whole month.

Only if you want to play the few SNES games and a couple of 3DS games that require it. In my opinion, not at all worth it when you already have one.
