Stamina

Snipers in FPSs
EZ

Escort missions

Pay 2 Win loot

QTEs instead of boss fights.

Microtransactions

racing minigames

Incorrect.

>he wants progression raiding to be a 24/7 endurance test
fuck off.

encumbrance
inventory limit
weapon degradation

Retailer exclusive pre order bonuses

Falling into oridinary water resulting in insta death.

Stealth missions in action games

Underwater temple escort missions with oxygen meter and fingerless glove wear level

Quick time events

Escort missions

Pay2Win

This holy shit

I don't want raiding to be a schedule or something that feels like a second job, or all there is to a mmo when you exhaust everything else in PvE. Go renew your wow/ffxiv sub and keep choking on casual dick, tho

any game with a encumbered mechanic

Unskippable cutscenes disguising load times in an action game.

Fully open world where you can literally go to the end of the game immediately.

>he wants instancing in the first place instead of raids contested by the entire server like pre-WoW MMO's did
fuck off.

Turns cooler weapons into a chore. What's the point of earning them if they just break a little while later

Weapon durability is cancer

I like that

World tendency

Works in Fire Emblem. works far worse in Zelda.

Black dicks, Steve!

Escort missions.

Escort mission

UFOs in Touhou 12

Underwater levels

This ruined botw for me

Poison/DOTs

Weapon durability without any restore or easy/quick replacement options. Even worse when the game has a crafting system to get stronger weapons.
Non-optional low tier collectables.
QTEs as bosses.
Instakill melee options.

botw is the only game that does this

Incorrect

1. Bullshit Vision (batman, ass creed, witcher 3, etc. etc. etc.)
2. QTEs
3. Forced stealth in a non stealth game
4. Item Weight
5. Item Durability
6. Sewer/Underwater missions
7. Escort missions with terrible AI
8. Hacking mini games

user team won the round! Give me Bob, give me Shaniqua. Okay guys for the next question we're asking for the top 6 answers. What are the 6 dumbest weapons ever made?

QTEs during game endings

Switchkids can't be THIS stupid right?

the χ-blade

How would that fix a need for a schedule? Not everyone has free time at the same day/time.. so a schedule would be created and you would all agree to meet at a certain time and day.

post some examples nigger because you obviously didnt

>not Battle Tendency

Forced tutorial

>What are the 6 dumbest weapons ever made?
Any Kingdom Heart weapon.

I think it's an interesting mechanic but it's basically impossible for any player to know how it works without looking up a guide. The way it was implemented was kind of silly in many ways too.

Dark souls 2 was the only one to do this right

l a g g e r s

Two worlds, morrowind..

Repairs
It brings nothing but tedium, prove me wrong.

yawn boring need something that wasnt made 20 years ago

Fall damage.

i will find you and i will punch you and i will miss

underrated FPBP

but why? how would you even wield it? who thought this was a good idea

>I'm a little bitch and don't know how to play

Okay, user, we already knew that.

You hold it by the middle, where the two handles conjoin. The final boss of one of the routes wields it this way, i'm serious.

>Wanna repair your weapon? Ok cool however, I have a probability of a 90% success rate. If I fail you permanently lose 1 point of your maximum durability. I hope your lucky.

lets ride to taco bell faggot

>lucky headshot
wow great gameplay

Heh

>does a yawn in this thread too
Fuck man you're 26 you need to shape up

>luck

Stop being garbage at video games, you retard. Just stick to your fucking visual novels if you can't handle actual gameplay.

Timed Quests

fuck them, they literally force me to use guides just so i dont miss out content

This can be extrapolated further into:
>Enemies with no counter other than to do what they do
Or, more precisely
>Enemies who can one-shot you with no option of fighting back

Missables

>enemy scaling

Ha! Now that I'm a niggezard level 4000 those dungeons will be a breeze

>lvl 4000 spider

how tf does no one like i-frames

My penis, Steve.

Universal Timer Fuck you, Capcom Vancouver.

get out of my board, sonybros

>Bullshit vision
Nah, that's fine. As long as you can't just use it all the time with no downsides, it has its purpose.

This. the whole point of leveling is progression. WHY MAKE THE ENEMIES SCALE?

Hacking minigames are fine as long as they’re relatively simple like in Bioshock 2 or Prey

Xenoblade chronicles 2's psuedo-gacha bullshit

How has nobody said hunger yet?

Because usually there are other much better ways to get stronger that doesn't rely on levels but I know some games fail hard at this

>>Enemies with no counter other than to do what they do
>Or, more precisely
>>Enemies who can one-shot you with no option of fighting back
I was watching a video review and the guy was mad that it only took one shot to kill him so he had "no time to react". I don't really get this complaint though. People like him, and you apparently, think that video games are about reaction times. But maybe you're wrong? Maybe the skill is to not put yourself in a bad position to get memed on by another player. It's about positioning instead of reaction time.

>smack a wall
>go from max weapon durability to zero
I love Ds2 but this is lame.

Nekkid Grandma

some people like the gay survival shit

Enemies that scale to your level.

>This. the whole point of leveling is progression. WHY MAKE THE ENEMIES SCALE?
>HURR DURR IF I PLAY A GAME FOR LONG ENOUGH IT SHOULD STOP BEING A GAME AND TURN INTO A GODMODE PLAYGROUND

This has to be autism or something. You should be banned from playing video games.

Speak for yourself loser casual.

B...but I enjoyed Dead Rising user

I like japanese games but why is it so hard for them to not go full autism when it comes to weapon design

Exploits that ruin a multiplayer game into nothing but optimal meta. Said exploits never get patched or fixed, and just get ingrained into the game.
I know most people's first answers, but mine would be Chivalry.

>HURRR DURR I LOVE SPONGY ENEMIES THAT TAKE HOURS TO KILL IM SO RIGHT

where's the ten hotbars full of fucking buttons to click? goddamn EQ looks so simple and fun

Crafting in open world games
