what is their endgame?
What is their endgame?
I dunno but JSRF HD better be apart of it
Lose as much money as they can and hopefully be bought out by EA.
run everything into the ground and squeeze every last shekel they can from it in the process
continue to allow Sonic Team to make mediocre Sonic games as long as they meet the bare minimum sales quotas
you know, business as usual
Kill gaming like Sony killed them
When they go under, people will look back and see wasted potential: the company
32x add on for Xbox one and ps4
do what nintendon't
Like Fail?
Make you hear the intro every time you see their logo.
We already saw their endgame more than a decade ago
Were you even alive at the time?
Print money with PSO2 and Vocaloid shit.
WHAT YOU STILL DON'T HAVE A SEGA CD
Now that Monster hunter world was a huge success, probably phantasy star in the west?
lol
If you wanted PS in the west, you should have been on PSU with the rest of us, and buying PSP2 at launch instead of pirating or ignoring it. That game sold 20k or so and was costly to localize, they even did their best and managed to secure rights to things like Gurren Lagann and Evangelion costumes. Phantasy Star being dead is entirely because of chucklefucks like you who love to talk about how they play all the games on the internet and in reality, played 2 hours of PSO on their boyfriends Gamecube a decade ago while calling everything after shit.
>sega still hasn't fored sonic team already
Why? They've proven time and again they don't know what they're doing
Not him, but I only recently got into PSO2 as my first Phantasy Star thing and have already thrown more than enough money at them to justify my past lack of knowledge about this franchise.
Doesn't mean anything. PSO2 is an empty shell of a game designed as an advertisement vehicle to Japanese media. You throwing money at it just highlights the problem. Like I said, the damage is done, and this series fate was decided in September 2010 when PSP2 bombed and everyone trashed PSU 360.
>port the shitty games
>doesn't port the good games
It's SEGA's job to manage their franchises, not mine.
A 35% Profit margin minimum and a 12% increase year on year, what else?
Lol, what does this even mean kid? You sound retarded and have demonstrated to have zero knowledge of the series history. Go hack away at your shitty monster for 30 minutes with a clunky boring ass weapon and cut his skin in a cheap 3 second animation and pat yourself on the back.
It's quite alive and fine if you look at the player numbers instead of pulling out assumptions from your ass. It's a franchise with various games on various platforms and a dev would have to be a complete retard to draw conclusions from the sales of one made on a dead platform. I don't play games on consoles, play and simple, and I like MMOs much, much more than I like any singleplayer focused RPG so I generally don't even play the latter. Different demographics, retard.
Like every Japanse console company, "launder money for the yakuza".
As long as they keep funding Creative Assembly, I dont give a shit what they do.
Profits from their traditional games going up every year, profits from their mobile & pachinko shit going down every year, yet they continue to push mobile & pachinko shit for some reason.
Why would anyone care about Sonic Team's Sonic games, when they are also behind the glorious Puyo Puyo games?
>still no project diva ports to PC
I'll swear they hate money.
Better then playing a shit mmo
>what is their endgame?
Making 500 billion yen in net sales for the 2020 fiscal year seems to be their current goal
Nani
They predict their own fate.
Because pachinko, mobile etc. shit is much cheaper to produce and Konami continues to make shitloads of cash from that kind of shit, so it totally make sense to keep trying that instead of investing in something more expensive, risky, that won't be worth the expense and risk even if it does become successful.
What I don't get is why they haven't crapped out more PC remasters of their old hits, like Yakuza, Shenmue, after the success of Bayo and Vanquish remasters?
They rereleased a bunch of their older games on Steam a while back and most of them flopped IIRC, I think Valkyrie Chronicles was the only standout success they had on that front.
never ever because "gamers" are retarded
Just release this on PC REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Not till they can make everyone forget about the pso2 promise or pso2 in general.
being a leech to ATLUS so that they can keep on living
>Muh nipponese honoru
>Ruined themselves because they were assblasted that sega of america was doing better than them in the 90's
Even nowadays when sega of europe is doing fine, sega of japan is still retarded.
isnt SoJ the only one who actually develops the games?
if so why dont the other branches have their own development teams
saving mecha in 1 week
