I'm progressing for the first time in this game, almost got my first lvl 6 heroes.
I wanted to try cool stuff like omen seeker or musketeer but I'm afraid they can make the game less fun or different as it suppossed to.
How are modded heroes not breaking immersion?

Get some good new classes, they fit very well in the game when they're good.
The Marvin Seo classes and the Cataphract are the ones you can take with your eyes closes. The rest depends on your personal taste.
I'm about to face the Viscount. Any tips?
Target the bodies. Once they're down its pretty easy.
What about party composition?
Musketeer is just arbalest, maybe with a few slightly different skills. Yet to try cataphract, but omen seeker is alright, though some of the trinket reliant effects on some skills are a little annoying. Thrall is alright, though I hear his accuracy is complete shit, and he's slow as fuck. Some goofy skills like one that stuns both the enemy and himself, plenty of bleeds, which you can almost get for free with his riposte, and the whole stress management with him is interesting I guess. Lamia is alright, has healing and stress healing, but it's annoying how she has practically no offensive skills in human form but her beast form stresses the fuck out of your party while also shuffling about like an asshole. Librarian is cute, but none of her skills have sound. Haven't tried any of muscarine's stuff, but it looks like it involves a fuck-ton of shuffling from mutliple characters.
Stuff with DOTs is good.
>Haven't tried any of muscarine's stuff, but it looks like it involves a fuck-ton of shuffling from mutliple characters.
I don't get how anyone can take that shit seriously enough to consider trying it. They look like 80's western comic characters mixed with hentai. One even has a donut asshole mouth.
will fanatic show up even in crimson court quests?
No, he only shows up in normal quests
Not in the courtyard. Which is a shame, since you normally bring an A team there. I stead of being ambushed with some level 0s.
Tell me anons, are you learning how to do art stuff, so that you can make your own skins?
>Playing this game without a stacking mod and a mod to greatly increase the positive outcome of resolve checks
So there are character class mods? Do they just add characters or do they alter existing ones? I assume ancester doesn't have any spoken dialogue for them then, which really dissuades me from using them honestly.
Plus the cowtits Omen Seeker just looks stupid.
>Librarian is cute, but none of her skills have sound.
She's supposed to be getting sound soon(tm). Mod author is pussyfooting around and giving excuses about some voice actress being sick and stuff.
Just look at the workshop instead of waiting to be spoonfed.
And you do realise that the only thing specific to a class the Ancestor says about it is the tiny introductory message? Some of them have phrases taken by the modder that sorta fits the class.
>Waifufags have found a way to shit up even Darkest Dungeon
>90% of character class mods are female
Checks out
Wish me luck boyos.

What's the mod for that helmet? Its some good shit
Yes I am.
I wanna make pic related as skin for the Leper
is the antiquarian info there outdated or does she still get some special bonus with curios when she's the one to touch them?
I don't even know why they'd need a VA. Hope this doesn't mean she'll end up having a bunch of spoken lines for every skill. That'd be fucked up.
Fucking templars and everything, based.
It's made from an user that is fairly regular around here. I love his helmets, better than the original bucket helm.
Purge on.
He said it's all sub vocalizations, so no spoken words.
>I love his helmets
user in question here, S-Purple did the grayscale art for the helmet, I just did colours.
>or does she still get some special bonus with curios when she's the one to touch them?
Yes, her entire point is just to make more money since she finds extra stuff when she searches crap
Is there any way to go places without a vestal or occultist? Healing is too good
You can do short missions with a tanky part, or one with lots of self-heal, or bring a flaggelant/mod healer like Librarian, Lamia or Cataphract.
Fair enough my dude. Any other plans? Where did you get the greaves btw? I really like this little addition.
NON NOBIS DOMINE
Those are from the original Hospitaller mod from the Nexus. Although I do have a sneaking suspicion that the original author took them from somewhere, their colour does not match that of the armor, which I will be adjusting at some point.
CALL THE POPE!
Shitfuck, there was ONE boss I really didn't want.
She looks really weird in the Ruins.
While I have you here, there's a slight problem with the white dude in 2nd place here . When he activates shit, he has those 2 white rectangles around here, with the clear limits of the sprite showing. Doesn't happen with Reynauld, in black here. But I think you've been tod that already.
Holy lance rail-gun and battle-heal? Probably a pretty awkward fight, though.
Musketeer is already a Redhook official class, the two mods out there just let others use her or let others use her as something other than a reskin. Aside from that the rest are up to what you think belongs in the game.
I must have forgotten to apply the transparency to that sprite, thought I had tested all the combos, guess I missed one or a few of the 56 sprites. Going to fix that now.
I killed the Viscount. Really easy fight, not a single one of my heroes even went into death's door. Way easier than the Baron and the Crocodilian
Reynauld got put in the pot and to death's door while she did nothing but heal herself, but I got her. Weirdly enough, it counted as a mission victory after killing her, while I'm sure there would have been more room battles, but I ain't gonna say no. Now all my crusaders are level 6. They have all earned their bucket helm, a new armor and a new name.
Yeah, the Viscount is known to be the easiest of thr CC bosses. Clench your buttcheeks for the Countess though. I definitely recommend a flagellant for her.
As long as you have some sort of adequate heal and a stunner you can get away with missions without those two.
The Flagellant is pretty fucking OP in anything Courtyard related. Thanks user, I have seen hundreds of salt-blasted posts about her, so I'm already expecting the worst.
>reynauld the hedgehog
can anyone upload the mods made by marvin seo and muscarine
nexus doesn't have the newest versions of the mods the seraph and the crimson court trinket mods for the classes
Naaah he was the dude in black here . I am "that" close from renaming him Sigismund, but one does not touch based Reynauld or Dismas.
You got a pirated/GOG version?
Just got the game for the switch.
Any tips
Hmm.png
Pirated steam and gog version
I hear the CC isn't fixed on switch yet, basically broken since it doesn't save your progress in dungeons. So don't activate it yet. (You shouldn't activate it until you have a solid lvl6 team anyway)
Also read the guide in the OP post. Learn from your mistakes, think before you go on a mission, party composition and terrain matter a lot. If you're wondering whether to take too few or too many provisions, take too many. Better to have 12 foods for a small dungeon and have some spare than to lose someone because of a food check. Shovels are important, learn which terrain uses more.
Sure, give me a bit.
DADDY
Truly amazing, truly horrifying.
Thank you based user
mega.nz
I am only able to upload Marvin Seo's mods right now, sorry. Maybe another user can help with Muscarine's.
thank god
I needed this
>woman is melee fighter
>man is ranged fighter
Wow, what a progressive society.
My boner is confused. I expected some tiddies. I'd argue for either a beard or shorter hair. The long hair gives him a feminine face, which obviously clashes with his Arnie-tier body.

Guys I've never played this game. Should I play with DLC or without? Is the DLC integrated into the game or is it something like NG+?
DLC comes in packages that you can turn on or off whenever. Crimson Court is ultimately worth it since it adds a lot of new content that is well done, but some players think it makes the game more difficult at the beginning. Shieldbreaker as a class is fun but is the DLC is nowhere near as good as the former. It is just a class and that's it. I would suggest playing with CC for sure and only get shieldbreaker if you really like the game.
The DLC is worth it, I suppose, but the enemies are the most annoying shit ever, and they replace most normal encounters.
Is there any diagram like this that shows what to use on curios?
Just look up the curios list on the wiki. After a while you'll reme them, even more so if you activate the option that leaves a sign after you tried on object on a curio.
The districts and the flagellant break the game tho.
>musketeer
>makes the game less fun
Musketeer is a white arbalist. The only reason you'd have less fun is if you hate wipepo.
Districts are fine in my opinion. You have to beat a boss and collect a ton of stuff to make one of them The Flagellant is way better than anything else. Like, I can keep the entire party healthy with a Flagellant and a PD because he can heal 2 characters (himself and someone else) to almost full every time he gets under the threshold.
Antiquarian + Flagellant is a broken combo, you can guarantee that Flagellant will be taking enough damage to use his OP heal, meanwhile Auntie can keep the team off Death's Door and stack blight on the enemy squad.
I did that a lot before I had a bunch of level 6 characters. Flagellant really feels pay 2 win desu
Cutting off the bottom half of the screen, you wouldn't happen to be using some gay shit like expanded inventory or god-forbid 3 trinkets? Would you user?
>playing games with censored mods
N-no. Never.
The bank and the sanguine vinters literally destroy the economy. The 5% from the bank becomes much more than you can actually spend each week.
I thought you were talking about the minor buffs for the classes.
Sanguine vinters make the curse not a problem. It makes the entire thing pointless, since there's no risk involved.
As for the bank, I thought 5% was too little, but I only had 40k when I built it. Now I can fully upgrade a hero every week and not run out of cash.
Unless you're really bad with your money or you suffer multiple failed dungeons in a row, you shouldn't run out of money. As long as you farm the blood enough before starting one of the long quests it isn't a problem, that being said the first time i did CC i didn't have enough blood and half of my roster was cursed and they all slowly withered away.
Thanks and would you be able to the upload the butcher the cataphract the musketeer and curio hints mods and any mod that allows me to use abomination in a party of religious characters
>Rookie's resolve is tested!
>PANIC
>Fight the Countess for the first time
>Party wipe
>Okay bitch get ready for round 2
>Kills Houndmaster, Dismas and my only MAA
>Have to train 2 resolve 3 MAA and 1 resolve 2 HWM
>Decide to give the B team a chance to fight her in order to learn more about her
>Kill her with no one getting stressed out
What the fuck
??????
Well, that's been fixed and I also did the greave colours while I was at it.
...
Thanks a bunch my dude.
mega.nz
Musketeer is the version where she isn't a reskin and abom understood also affects his stress gained through transformation.
My mistake I forgot to upload curio hints. Give me a sec
...
Man at arms isn't white
Arbalest is black
thank you user have a totally spies webm as a reward
we need a totally spies mod
>champion long weald mission
>forget to bring shovels
shit
>go to fight Vvulf
>take Leper with ACC quirk because loldamage
>neglect the fact that he's wasting stage of Crimson Curse and don't bring blood
It worked out though.
I also went to Vvulf while forgetting something, but it was torches instead of vials. Everyone survived the fight but one of my guys died tragically trying to get the loot afterwards.
>fuck up and camp in the first room of a med dungeon
>go wrong way and have to backtrack whole dungeon
>no one died or even went about 30 stress
What are you doing now my dude? Learning or already drawing?
is there any point to collecting heirlooms once you fully upgrade the hamlet?
Have you got all the districts?
