I'm 99% the PS5 will be a home console & portable hybrid much like the Switch is. Sony has a history about copying Nintendo, and seeing how the Switch is selling like hotcakes it's only natural Sony will copy them again. Screencap this if you want, you all know it's true.

The "New" Vita
>99% sure
I mistyped that, but you all get the idea.
And why should I care what some random fuck on Sup Forums says?
I would rather just have a new portable console. I genuinely like my Vita more than my 3DS.
>Sony has a history about copying Nintendo
Can't spell Sony without 'Soy'
You don't have to care user, much like how I don't care that you don't care.
There will no longer be a ''PS5''. Sony and Microsoft will just continue to increase the consoles life cycle trough new iterations. In the foreseeable future they will start dropping older models in order to focus on the newer ones.
I thought Sony was literally going bankrupt and that there wouldn't be a PS5? Did Sup Forums lie to me again?
Sony won’t sacrifice graphical fidelity for the sake of portability, and their primary demographic wouldn’t want them to.
When they do, they'll at least have a GPU dock to amp the graphics.
>Blindly believing what Sup Forums says
>I understand how technology works
You have nothing backing up your claim
They didn't really sacrifice it for the Vita and there was still no market for the thing, even when the 3DS had a pretty poor launch.
Did you know the move controller was in development when the eyetoy came out?
You've seen those graphics cards boxes for laptops, right?
The 32X would like to have a word with you.
Not possible given the current heat output of AMD's kit.
>this meme
Pro sold like shit
Yeah, just like Apple stopped making iterations of their phones, right?
I can guarantee you right now Ps5'is happening.
Having actually owned a Vita it was definitely not on par with the PS3, at all. Thieves in Time was massively reduced graphically, so was PS All-Stars albeit to a much lesser extent given it’s scope being much smaller.
The switch is pretty much a Vita 2.0, so there's definitely a market for it.
What? The possibility that Sony will copy Nintendo once again like they have been doing for quite some time or that I don't care that you don't care? I'd say the PlayStation Move and Sony's poor attempt at ripping off Smash Bros are proof of just how low they are willing to stoop.
Except the company that put out the Vita 2 actually wants to support it with games made by their main teams.
Even if Sony did go bankrupt some other company like Disney or MS would just buy it and keep the branding. Sony itself will never die.
It's okay when Nintendo copies other companies
The funny part is that amiibo was still more successful than that. Disney has absolutely no business in video games. Mickey has been completely cucked by Mario as the most recognizable fictional character of all time.
Skylanders is more successful than amiibo
Does this look like something out of Skylanders to you?
Doubt it, Microsoft and Sony appeal to the Muh Grafix, Muh realism console crowd, and portability is always done on the expense of power.
Maybe they'll copy the Wii U and Switch a little by replacing the DS4 touchpad with a small screen or something for the DualShock 5, that would be neat.
Nintendo copied Skylanders AND disney infinity
Yes, I never denied that.My point was that amiibo still sold more than Disney Infinity even if it's a copy of it, which indicates Nintendo must have done something better than Disney.
>Sony has a history about copying Nintendo
Yeah and you know SonyGAF is gonna praise Sony's hybrid console.

Okay... but that's just one example. This has way more than one.
>mario being more recognizable than the mouse
lmao
so why's it okay for Nintendo to copy disney infinity and skylanders?
There's more.
It isn't. And I never said it was.
Not OP but I don't think you understand what iterative means.
iPhones don't change radically from one model to the next, and come out on a relatively reliable annual basis.
Both Sony and MS have changed gears in console development. We're seeing what may become an annual or biannual release schedule for beefier iterations of each console family.
"Can't you see how much I don't care by replying to your post OP?"
>It isn't.
so why don't you criticize them for it?
Let me guess, it's only bad when sony does it right?
I have though?
>Sony has a history about copying Nintendo
Nice try sweetie
A lot of these are valid but they still set the standard with the dual analog and dual shock before anyone else did.
Every other traditional controller has been based on this with the only other industry standard addition being the home button.
It took both Microsoft and Nintendo until the 360 and Wii to realise that 4 shoulder buttons was the way to go and it took Nintendo until the Wii U to make their analog sticks clickable.
