A lot of fun for a few hours before it all gets old
A game which tries to be literally everything and actually does each thing well so it's fun overall, but no individual aspect is amazing.
>a few hours
are we talking more or less than 10? Because that's how much it took me to beat Bioshock 2 and I figure that was $20 well spent
Milk and salty coins.
Fun gameplay but story makes you do shit over and over. Tries to make you connect with characters that are hollow. Best part is night time but that can get stale too.
But since you paid 20 bucks then I should be fine
Dont unlock things overpowered like the ability to crush infected head when they're on the ground, the funniest shit is to kick them.
Other than this it's an incredibly great games. Maybe the best zombie game out there. I'm the minority but I still think it's also the prettiest game I've ever play for an open world.
fucking awesome game
Another shitty zombie game.
The single open world game where gameplay isn't completely automated ubisoft polished shitfest
I played it for 60 hours with DLC
A mediocre experience in a unique and interesting world with a ton of missed potential.
A lot of the missions are bland, combat is decent at best, characters are boring. Most of your fun will be had playing with friends and dicking around.
Yeah, most of your fun will be playing the game instead of watching cutscenes
Probably one of the best zombie games around. Only weakness was it being set in some fake Arab city.
Bashing zombies brains repeatedly with a rusty pipe early game, slicing 6 corpses at once with a katana modded to do fire and electric damage late game. Fun parkour, rewarding exploration, creepy night time experiences, meh story, fun cooperative gameplay. Overall one of the best zombie games of all time. I hope you got the following with it
What Dead Island was supposed to be.
>I hope you got the following with it
yep, package deal with all the DLC cost only $20
Best zombie game.
That gave it some charm imo. The city of haran. In the quaran 'haram' means a sin. It's just one letter off from being sin city. That being said, all the dead bodies I loot have cigarettes. They were not a healthy people
I liked the base game enough to finish it twice, last time on nightmare mode but I dropped the dlc after few hours.
Add dune buggy fun to the list. The base game gives you two map areas, and the following gives you a huge countryside area that's bigger than the first two combined, just with more driving traversal than parkour.
Game of the year 2016
Devs are still supporting it too
The problem is that the parkour is excellent while the driving is boring making it all useless.
This driving me mad. It's been 3 years since release. I want new game.
A good game that's better with friends.
Wasn't there a rumor that they're working on a sequel
A good game with a cookie cutter story
It's based.
Honestly, it looks great, plays great, and best of all is made by the some of the best and most honest devs today. I cannot believe how the don't get more credit. After three fucking years these poles are STILL making free DLC for their fans. Cocksucking developers demand you pay for support and DLC, and these guys, who I imagine aren't swimming in cash, are like "nah fuck that we're doing it anyway". I haven't heard of a single game based so heavily on single player that gets this type of dev support. The only game I own that i feel really proud I bought, not knowing how much the people who made it would care I did, is this one. They give a shit and that to me is such a rare occurrence
It's a quick way to get around, and pretty intense getting chased by volatiles at night. It's just nice having another tree to max out. I agree though, the parkour is Dying Light at it's best.
