Latest subnautica hysteria made me think that only games that are 100% free of fascism get a greenlight

Well there was that guy making the "what if cyberpunk was caused by liberalism" pixelshit game who got fucked over for having centrist views.

rip
but yeah, the whole indie gender is dominated by SJWs and the ""progressive"" kind of people, so if you make indie games you better agree (or at least pretend to) with their views

otherwise you're just gonna piss off your playerbase, and no one that wants to make money out of videogame wants to do that

in other words, learn to lie and pretend to have opinions you don't have

the free market was a mistake

I think it's just a american thing.

Early millennials are just more concerned about social issues than their parents on average. You can't really blame them since they grew up in an era of censorship, televangelism and political propaganda incessantly targeting minorities. Including more minorities in gaming is one way to right that wrong, at least from their perspective.

But Sup Forums is far too young to understand that, so they think these people are a bunch of hippie causeheads instead.

It's a nightmare to think 2 million resetera and reddit users would boycott your game and blacklist your existence if you dare to say something that hurts their feelings
In the future there will be a LGBT stamp similar to ESRB
