This is going to flop hard and you know it

This is going to flop hard and you know it.

Yeah, flop hard on my dick.

Based on what?

the game came out 2 and a half years ago to great reviews

How much do you wanna bet this is a Nin-toddler false flag?

so in 2 she has short hair but her suit and stuff is made from long flowing armpit hair?

Pubes

I think it kind of depends what percentage of Switch owners are former Wii U owners
I know I'm not buying it again. It wasn't even as good as the first game, and I'd rather play that on PC. 720p no thanks

arm hair

I just want the physical cart special edition, it sold out immediately though.

It'll probably do around 900k, which would be higher than what it did on Wii U but still not "fantastic".

It can only sell 10 copies and Nintendo will keep bankrolling it just to rilled up sonigros.

Are Bayonetta 1 and 2 on Switch actually going to be digital only?

720p no thanks. Why the fuck do you have a Switch then dipshit?

The box is in the op image

I just hope it comes to PC at some point. The port of the first one was very well done.

Pre-loaded and ready to go.

Considering more people own a Switch than a WiiU, I doubt it.

What is the appeal of this game, exactly? Besides the fap material and button smashing?

>fapping to bayoneta
Do anyone really do that?

Learning some secrets.

It's not a new game.
It doesn't have new content.
It doesn't look better.
It doesn't feature Mario.
1+2 package is full price.

All these points lead me to believe it won't do better than the Wii U version.

This. Bayonetta wears glasses and has SJW feminist hairstyle, the physique of slenderman and shitty British accent. Japanese has shit taste in women, always have.

You get to dial combos against AI opponents for around 9 hours.

How long have you been anti-shilling this, user?

To Jeanne I can.

Jeanne > Bayonetta

Taking all poo bets

Owned the original on 360, it was garbage tier, why would I rebuy it?

The sale number of the Wii-U. The problem is if the game doesn't have Mario or Zelda or Pikachu in it, Nintendo audience won't buy the game.

You haven't been paying attention to Switch sales at all, have you?

Oh man , now THAT is desperate

Nail on head

ha-ha bing bing wahoo!

You sure showed them sonyfriend :)

Yeah pretty much. 2b and the gang (including 9s) are fapbaits.
Bayoneta looks like kamiya's troll attempt. It doesn't make it bad game, but thinking it fapbait is strange. Except for some specific kind of fetish.

The WiiU version flopped, my good chap. WiiU owners preferred rehashed kiddie shit like NSMBU over what they blindly perceived as hyperviolent and hypersexual game that is unsuitable for children and manchildren.

This game is the reason why I even have a switch. Mario was fun but not fun enough to be a system seller, Zelda was a massive disappointment, MK8 was completely boring, D44M looked and ran like trash that they shouldn't have bothered porting it, Spla2oon was fun for all of two days, and now I'm too scared to pick up Skyrim because of how poorly D44M was ported.

Bayonetta 2 is the reason why I haven't sold my switch already. God I hope she's worth it.

You're not serious user are you? Bayonetta is $30 on eShop (plus tax) but free with the game as a digital download too. Nintendo swindled you.

I pre-ordered it on Amazon. Can't wait.

You get discounted for the other version if you buy either 1 or 2, so it still comes out the same price if you get both digitally as you do with the cartidges.

...

Oh.

Possibly but blame Sony/MS/Gabe for not paying for it.

It took a literal second to corroborate OPs pic on Amazon...

user... It came out 4 years ago

Replayed both on my Wii U last month, before also replaying W101.

W101 = fantastic, but takes some missions to get used to the flow of the game
Bayo 1 = flawed masterpiece, the missile and motorcycle missions are honestly terrible due to how long they are, but everything else is 10/10
Bayo 2 = very good intro, but gets worse with time, the final boss is awfully bland

I'd suggest just buying Bayo 1 if you're new to the series.

I'm buying it. Didn't play the Wii U version and I don't own stock in the company so I don't care if it flops.

Why the fuck would sales matter to the consumer? It's a good game. If it doesn't sell good I don't give a shit. I'm still gonna buy it and play it. Unless it's a multiplayer centered game, amount of sales should not matter to the consumer. This is b8 and OP sucks a tremendous ammount of cock

oh

how did splatoon outsell bloodborne then?

Shall I prepare your dicks and crows?

>I'd suggest just buying Bayo 1
its not stand alone retard
you buy Bayo 2 you get Bayo 1 for free

people who didn't buy a Wii U but bought a Switch and were mildly interested in Bayo 2 but didn't feel like it was worth buying a system for will get it.

Holy shit, is this OP Blunderfag? It's been a while since XB2 came out, and he's moved on to the next Nintendo release to continue his autistic crusade against.

...

It is on eshop for a much lower price

Brainlet 76% detected.

Sales are important to the consumer because it means a) the game that sells well is more likely to get a sequel, so if you like series X, you WANT it to sell well and you spread the word to help it sell well b) the most popular system sales-wise is more likely to get games than the ones that don't, so you, as a gamer, should obviously want good sales numbers for your system of choice so that it gets more games (and hopefully in that bunch more games you'll enjoy).

The only people who can say sales don't matter without sounding like brainlets are idorts, but even then, they will most likely want the good games to be available on PC, for performance and graphics, and handheld, for portability and easy of use.

Retardo, they'll both be available separately on the eShop.

>Calls me a Brainlet
>Doesn't know Bayo 2 is getting a sequel

>He cares this much about video games

What if I don't care if it gets a sequel?
I'm not some manchild that gets attached to game series and need constant sequels especially in this flimate we're the sequels are absolutely shit. Just enjoy the ride, my man.

Nah the switch has no games, so to compensate the dismissive thought of buying a gameless machine people will buy it.

>The problem is if the game doesn't have Mario or Zelda or Pikachu in it
I guess Splatoon and XB2 don't count. Also Snipperclips did well enough for a physical release and didn't ARMS sell a million at least?

But we already know that Bayonetta 2 is getting a sequel, so who cares? It's not like Nintendo is bankrolling Bayonetta for the money anyways.

Arms sold 1.6 million as of December 31.

i fucked up, no bully

ITT: OP wanted to take a stab at nintyfags and failed miserably due to not even doing a remote amount of research on the game he was trying to attack

Again, mr. Brainlet, think a bit harder, Bayo 1+2 isn't being re-released because they like Switch fans, they wanna recoup part of the dev costs for that game and use 1+2 as advertisement for the upcoming Bayo 3. They want new audiences to know Bayonetta and they want people who might have forgotten about the franchise to remember how good it is so that they come back for the actusl new game.

Sales are important for devs, for publishers AND for the consumers.

Then you look at the second point in that post, my below average IQ friend. Devs flock to systems in which games sell well, a rising tide lifts all boats, your new IPs are more likely to come to your system of choice if the hardware and software sells well.

1.6 million + 1. I just bought it and it's my new favorite game. Better than OoT.

>Reaching this hard to win an argument
>I called you stupid so that means I'm smarter than you

Good thing I have a PC PS4 and Switch then huh mr high iq.

Is Kamiya helming Bayo 3?

>they wanna recoup part of the dev costs
They don't give a shit. Nintendo could fund a thousand different games which are guaranteed profit and sleep on dozens of IPs who are more commercially successful than Bayonetta. They're funding Bayonetta because it bring variety to their offering, it's street cred, it has a dedicated enough fanbase that it could push some systems by itself, it prepares the market for other mature games, not because they want to make a quick buck.

If you disagree with the points brought up, why not reply telling me how those are wrong? Calling you stupid was just a bonus, don't take it seriously, I actually justified my point, unlike you.

If you bothered to read, you'd see that I already said idorts are the only ones that can justify saying they don't care about sales (to an extent).

>Taking anonymous online images boards and video games this seriously

Why would I read your entire post when you start with insults?

He's directing a new IP after Scalebound was cancelled, he pitched it last year to Platinum and everyone was on board. Expect it in 2019 at the earliest.

You bothered to reply anyway, so why not read the post so you don't make the insult actually true to you?

The action in the game is that good. Dmc series cannot even compare. You know that epic "feel" only the most action packed gameplay can deliver? Bayonetta 2 in particular is filled with it.

Fuck off stop taking this so serious

>Not wanting to have a discussion with someone who insults you directly makes you stupid
>Implying you have to prove yourself on an anonymous online image board about fucking video games

You are 16

At least 16 points above you in regards to IQ, by the looks of it

ok

TV out?
720p isn't bad on a handheld, it's on my 4K TV that it looks like dogshit.

they really should have sold it for 30

>He's still trying

You're still replying, so you're as invested as I am

Who said I was the same guy?

Who said all of those posts above were me?

>The wiiu version sold like shit haha lmao
>the wiiu didnt sell enough consoles to become profitable lmao

Do you not see a correlation?

MK 8, Smash 4, Splatoon and other Wii U games sold extremely well, though, despite the system.

The Wii U was profitable and it had good attach rates for many games, and higher on average than both PS4 and Xbone

Bayonetta 2 was even a game specifically targetted at the core "gamers" who allegedly bought a Wii U and yet it flopped. So yeah. Maybe Bayonetta failed because people just aren't that interested in it? Maybe Bayonetta 2 flopped because it was a sequel to an unpopular game on an even lesser popular platform? Maybe the port will flop because it's a 4 year old game now that no one gives a shit about?

why the fuck do people care if a game flops? It's still going to come out and be good.
None of us work for platinum games so why care about the numbers?

Its weird it seems that core gamers are not longer core or something.

Why do you care if I care or not?

I really don't wanna remember Scalebound. It makes me remember how fucking unfair Microsoft is.

>Hire popular niche developer to do a game that shows the Xbone is mroe than shooters and racers.
>Push them to do a AAA title when they have always worked on smaller games
>Push them for online multiplayer game
>Fuck that, game is cancelled
>We still keep the IP even if we won't use it ever.
>Oh btw, you guys are super broke now, we don't care.

The fact a game made by a crazy asshole who most of his games bomb somehow ended up saving their asses is some kind of cosmic miracle...

because these threads are pointless you stupid faggot

Get ready to eat your own shit senpai. Kimmy is gonna make sure it sells over a million copies with his magic marketing.

Bayonetta 2 didn't do huge numbers, true, but it wasn't seen as a flop.
Otherwise, why would they making a third game?

Dude, it already sold well the first time.
Remember?
Gandpa?
Remember?
Remember remembering things?
It's getting a third game.
Cause it sold well.
Remember?
When it sold well?
Grandpa?
Grandpa?
Grandpa?
Remember?
Remember video games>?

>nobody owned a wii u so nobody got to play all the exclusive wii u games
>everyone already played the games on wii u so nobody is going to buy them a second time

Pick one, faggot.
