Ryu ga Gotoku 6

>you try to play it over from the start later
>it's just not the same

Recently? Persona 5.

I just finished this. What a fucking ride it was

came here to say either one of these, are you both me?
hope you got the best and correct answer to the question, user

Those games settles in places like japan make my dick hard just by watching even a tiny webm of them.
Absolutely kino shit right there.

The Last Story

Shadow of Chernobyl
Fallout 1

Planescape Torment
Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines

Undertale, Breath of the Wild, Celeste, Pretty much every Assassin's creed game until 4, GTAV
I could go on.

The build up through the whole game with this question and when it finally hit and I made a choice was a really great moment.

Do you have a PS4 user? If so you're in for a treat come April ;). I'll post more webms.

>her

>What can change the nature of big guys
>The planes

Yeah I thought pretty hard on this one. I even tried to narrow it down somehow, but when I heard the answer it kinda blew my mind how stupid I was

Ace Combat 5

Paper Mario

I hate myself for not being able to get into that game

I've tried again and again but I just can't do it

>tfw no english patch for ps3 0

I basically only play multiplayer games now so I never have to experience this feeling. Single player games just don;t do anything for me anymore when I could be developing skills in other things.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey. It should never have ended.

Baldur's gate 2 is one of my favorite games of all time. How much would I like planescape torment?

Nier Automata, and I beat that in April last year.

I played the first game on PS2 like a decade ago and thought it was boring as shit. Are these new versions any better?

which game?

At minimum you will like it enough.

If there is anything I have learned in my travels across the Planes, it is that many things may change the nature of a man. Whether regret, or love, or revenge or fear - whatever you believe can change the nature of a man, can. I’ve seen belief move cities, make men stave off death, and turn an evil hag's heart half-circle. This entire Fortress has been constructed from belief. Belief damned a woman, whose heart clung to the hope that another loved her when he did not. Once, it made a man seek immortality and achieve it. And it has made a posturing spirit think it is something more than a part of me.

the last line is so fucking good
the Bronze Sphere use item dialogue is also brilliantly written

Doki Doki Literature Club

You should definitely try again. I mean it's a lot of reading which can be off putting to some, even me at times. I had to take pauses regularly, but it was well worth going through with it.

Also don't forget to max int and wis for the best dialogues

Celeste

What game are we talking about here?

Fields of Aviation: Suffering

Same here. Every Yakuza game has been 60+ hours of obsession followed by emptiness. What a series.

I don't mind reading, it's the combat and the "no rules everything is possible" world I can't get into

Witcher 3, TLOU

Mafia.

Planescape Torment.

It's been a year and I think about it every single day.

same here.
didnt want it to end. wish i took my time.

Persona always fucks me up cause the mc leaves to go home at the end

What's Tides of Numenera like?

the world is defined by rules, there's the Rule of Three which dictates that most everything tends to happen in threes, which it does
the Unity of Rings which notes that many things on the planes are circular and come back around to where they start (Sigil itself, the Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon)
and the Center of All, which states that there is a center of everything, or wherever a person may be is the center of the multiverse at least from their perspective; many believe Sigil is the Center of All

He's done that twice. The other time he fucking died.

...

I'll admit the combat is wonky at times, but it's not unplayable by any means. What class did you play? Mage is pretty fun, most of the party members you'll find will be melee fighters so having a extra support spellcaster is nice.

As for the setting I find it very well written and intriguing. I mean it's pretty alien and not a traditional boring fantasy. The rules are there, once you learn about sigil, portals and how the planes are configured it'll make you feel at home

Does he live on the moon?

how gay do you have to be to feel emotionally affected by a video game

Way better. 0 is considered the peak of the franchise which is great considering it's a good starting point for newer players. The original game also got a full on remake which you can take a look at here

Pic related is Yakuza 6

Many years ago it was Metroid Prime 2. I could not fucking believe how lost and entranced I was by that alien world. I had never played anything like it in my life.

Recently I really enjoyed Nier Automata. There were parts that were backtracking and/or unfun to play, but the overall experience was fucking incredible and had some really hard hitting emotional parts in route C.

Still not as gay as you are, but quite gay i'd bet.

always Dark Cloud

Ace Combat 4
Homeworld
Witcher 3
Mass Effect 1
Morrowind
Halo 3

not as good, but you might find some enjoyment if you really enjoy the genre and crave more
by no means play it before Torment though

>Develop city
>Walkway is literally a road
C'mon.

Legend of Mana when I was literally 12 years old

those damn nips i tell ya

That depends I think, if Irenicus was one of your favourite aspects of the game, I'm convinced you'll love Planescape Torment. I played P:T before I touched the Baldur's Gate series, and as much as I enjoy both BG1 and 2, P:T is a better game in almost every single respect. The writing is more nuanced, the story draws you in and is not just an excuse for killing things (the player is just as motivated in finding out the truth as the Nameless One), the game looks beautiful. Overall it's probably my favourite game of all time, and introduced me to "classic" games.

Even if you like the combat aspect of BG2 the most, I would still recommend P:T. In fact, I recommend Planescape to everyone I meet who shows an interest in video games, because it's simply too good to miss out on.

>Absolutely kino shit right there.
You keep using that word.
I don't think you know what it means.

Really? I don't think TLS is shit, but it's not like it does anything exceptionally well.

Steins;Gate

RE4

Mario Odyssey

I had to literally step back and walk around in my room, knowing that no game will ever be made to surpass this masterpiece, I was that nervous

Baiten Kaitos, Golden Sun 2, Tales of Symphonia

>Dude I have to go save my daughterwife's son
Yakuza 6 was a mistake

ace attorney trilogy, that was a good week

Why do these webm's look so smooth? I thought this game was 30fps

Persona 5 for sure, game was a fucking journey. Also Yakuza Zero, the ending was super satisfying.

Mass Effect 2
Nier Automata
Ocarina of Time

All these I remember left me depressed and empty after beating them.
I really can't even compare most of real life to the joy I've found in video games. Perhaps they have always been a distraction from my dull miserable existence but I can't really leave them behind.

Frame interpolation friend

I felt that way finishing crysis 1 after first crysis 2 and 3. Why did 2 and 3 go so terribly wrong? Crysis 1 was mindblowing.

Monster Hunter World

>Monster Hunter World

dragons dogma

Isn't that the plot of the first game too? Just replace son with "little girl"

It's okay when it's a girl, for reasons

Persona 4

>playing singleplayer shit

Fire Emblem Echoes
for being beautiful the first playthrough but having fuckall replay-value

>That image
Holy shit user I haven't played the game in years but that's great.

Shadow of the Colossus on PS2. Played it again on PS3 and now on PS4 but the feelling isn't as powerful as the first time. Couldn't think about anything else for a week after I finished it.

>just got it too

I start a new game lmao

How does the game change depending on your answer?

They're good games but dear god some of the retard logic hoops you have to jump through thanks to contrived coincidences and the like.

Doki Doki Literature Club

I can't remember any

correct answer is 15

Planet Escape: Tournament

Clannad

I enjoy how it ties together 3 games, but my favorite cases are the ones where you don't rely TOO much on the fey magic bullshit. The magatama is okay because it just lets you cross-examine people outside of the court, but possession cases were worst cases

Persona 5
That ending where you get to say goodbye to all your confidants before finishing the game

Firewatch

haters gon hate

Witcher 3

I miss Geralt.

The Last Guardian.
That game hit me hard.

Season 3 of Narcos is better than the first two seasons.

Xenoblade Chronicles

ive never played or heard of this game but this is deeply moving

That ending was really effective. Not as soul crushing as SOTC bit still better than 90% of the other games coming out rn. Not sure why Sup Forums shits on it so much.

Is Persona 5 actually fun? I've never played a Persona game before, and I need a new game. Does it have good game play and require strategy, or is it just a story-driven VN?

4 is better, but yeah, it's fun
