What are you thoughts? Will it be any good?
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition
>Musoushit
>Switch ports have been shown to be inferior to the Wii U ones
What do you think
muh
It's impossible for this one to be inferior to the Wii U version simply by virtue of the second set of DLC characters actually having maps and unlockables.
I'd consider it if they get rid of item cards in adventure mode
Switch version is objectively superior to the Wii U one,and you don't even know what this game is if you think otherwise
Also
>genre I don't like therefore it's bad game
Any new features in the Switch version?
Character switching a la Warriors Orochi 3
Breath of the Wild costumes for Link and Zelda
Those are the only things I see from the trailers and descriptions that weren't simply DLC from the Wii U and N3DS version.
The game is fun as hell, so this one will be fun as hell since it is the same game + all dlc.
Highly recommended even if you don't like musou but you like Zelda.
>Sup Forums
>shitposting and falsehood
What do you think?
what are the bad wiiu ports?
Btw, what did the 3DS version have that wasn't on Wii U? That weird fairy raising minigame?
revamped rewards like dlc stuff in adventure mode from what i heard
Great game for fairyfuckers.
...
Extra story, more stages, more adventure mode maps, rebalanced content, fairy shit, in-battle character swap
Plus new items, adventure maps, story content, weapons with multiple elements, and the ability to switch between Warriors during gameplay. The only thing the 3DS version was missing was Challange Mode, which had those missions where you play as Ganon, though it looks like the Switch Port will have that, as well.
is a port, that question was answered since the original one. The actual question is: will it outsellf the shitfest that is FEW?
>Definitive Edition
huwhitu piggu go home
I didn't like the overdose of shitwaifus in a twink simulator or the excessive grind even by musou standards.
>Switch ports have been shown to be inferior to the Wii U ones
Like?
only owned the wiiu version so I don't know everything but..
3ds had
-fairy raising
-fairies would killed enemies that were around you but wouldn't load until after you killed a bunch of monsters. since 3ds couldn't load as many monsters as the wiiu version.
-wind waker ganondork costume
-new wind waker enemies and a new boss or 2?
-wind waker area, map and story arc
-linkle story arc
-weapon+
3ds didn't have
-challenge mode from wiiu
-boss mode - controlling beat ganon and giant cucco
-instead of summoning monsters with lana's summoning gate, lana summoned colored orbs.
-bosses finishers for the 3ds were just character faces getting zoomed in while the boss lost a chunk of HP.
rehash
im going to miss FEW's map commanding
>Will it be any good?
of course since at the very least it will inspire nerds to draw and commission more porn
Mediocre roster aside, playing any older Musou after FEW is difficult due to all the significant mechanical improvements. They should have updated HW with some of them.
Same. FEW feels a lot better to play even if the roster was a bit disappointing.
I tried to go back to HW a few weeks ago and it felt limited.
I agree, I love Zelda a hell of a lot more than FE but enjoyed FE:W much more than Hyrule.
Bosses were neat to begin with but most of them are just a hassle to deal with.
I quit Adventure Mode because the grind was too much. Repeatedly doing same levels over for items and stages that forced you to A rank with characters you bareely used like Agitha just wore me down. Have not played FEW but it seems their map mode is muchbetter but the roster is so shit I don't even want to play. Maybe when there is a complete version I might grab it.
Also do you think they will remove the Rupee Glitch? Though it barely worked for me.
Alright, let's go

I'm definitely not going to buy it all over again, but it is legitimately the best Musou game I've ever played and has tons of content to satisfy Zelda fans. At this point, I think that its success among people that weren't interested before depends on its price point. If it releases at $40, I think it has the potential to turn heads. Otherwise, I think that its only audience is people that were already interested, but haven't played it on the WiiU or 3DS yet.
I would have liked if they did voice acting being a musou game it usually helps to hear what's going on on the battlefield. Well not always when they don't dub it, not that that they need to. It would have been optional though for people who do like all the noises they make.
The roster isn't great, but it does avoid a lot of that grind by not forcing you to repeat most maps and allowing you to do them with either any character you want or your choice from a subset of them (Fates characters, bow users etc) rather than, say, only Hinoka.
>Though it barely worked for me.
Which one? Not sure how many there are but I know the Lana one with the summon gate, and Cia's.
Lana is a pain in the ass to use, Cia was easy.
Why no Ike and my boy Roy?
for me it was a crapshoot trying to get it to work
MK8D removed the original battle mode maps.
Those "battle maps" that were just regular race tracks and were pretty much universally hated?
I'll only miss Yoshi Valley. But I do think they should have included them, but it shouldn't be hard to bring them back.
Fuck it I'm not playing Cucko's revenge again.

Unless it does something about the grind it can go fuck itself. Wii U was bad enough, again on 3DS? still haven't done all the maps, a third time? fuck no.
I heard they're toning down how long the giant bosses take to kill or something. Can anyone confirm?
The Imprisoned was toned down in Legends, and chances are that'll carry over to Definitive.
I don't believe any other boss was touched, but that doesn't mean they won't be.
I could listen to her all day.
Everyone seems to forget the 3ds version had "being able to switch to other character on the map" while the Wii u didn't
It's been mentioned several times in this thread.
One of the bigges hurdles in going back to HW after FEW is the AI. In FEW the AI is quite competent, and as long as you don't throw them into a battle with traingle disadvantage, they'll get the job done.
Meanwhile in HW the AI would get killed instantly whenever they went against a captain.
